Create filters during alias creation
While creating a new Alias in proton pass, I think It would be extremely helpful to be able to create a new filter matching the alias, and select actions such as label, and move to folder.
The idea here is to reduce the steps to create a filter matching the new alias. This should help make it easy to practice good housekeeping and inbox management.

I just signed up for a premium simple login account and was immediately faced with the shortcomings of the filters. I would even be happy with an option in the email to add criteria from an opened email to an existing filter instead of only being able to create a new filter.

With having ProtonPass/SimpleLogin alias integration and using aliases for mostly everything, need the option to initially create Filter based on recipient email. I can get several emails from one domain, but in the end they all would goto the same recipient email alias I have created for said entity.
Currently have to create filter/label, then go edit the filter to instead assign label based on recipient email. Otherwise I'm still editing the filter to either add all the emails that come from an entity or use match option based on *@domain.com or *@*.domain.com
Would remove all that manual work if I could just create filter and label based on alias email. -

You can do it with Sieve filters. Filter based on "To" addresses that contain @simplelogin, @passmail, etc

Please could you add email filters to the new aliases we create in Proton Pass, so new email aliases automatically get filtered into a folder or label?
Currently, I have to go into filters separately to do this with every aliases that is created.

Alternatively, we could get a drop-down/list of existing aliases to select from, when editing a filter with the "receiver" option selected.
At least it eases the flow, and works for existing filters as well. -

I really like this idea. Being able to redirect the anonymized aliases' emails to a different identity than the default one would be great!

When a user creates a new address or alias for their default, show an option for that user to create a filter for that alias (or add to an existing filter). Essentially a shortcut to the existing process of creating/adding to filters that makes it easier, especially for less tech-savvy users.

I also created account only to recommend implementing this feature!
I may extend the original idea by being able to add newly created alias as new condition to already existing filters ... aka to selected existing filter that has statement set to ANY add new condition "The recipient is exactly" with the new alias email
and you should be able to change / create new filters within the proton pass browser extension -

When I create an alias in Proton Pass, it would be great if I could directly specify an email filter for it. E.g. “mark all emails that I get to this alias as important/spam/todo” or “auto-delete them after X days”, etc.
