Auto find and remove duplicates
Please add the ability to delete similar logins & passwords for the same site (that are stored mainly because of importing data from several browsers & password managers).

I imported from several password managers. Some went into separate categories some didn't and I now have many duplicates. I have no idea if I delete a category then all the entries in the category will also be deleted from the All option. Doing this manually is overwhelming.

It is important that this feature be a duplicate entry detection tool, with an option (i.e., opt-in) to delete such entries. This way, all use cases can be addressed and accidental data deletion is avoided.

This is absolutely critical for me as the issue will only get worse as time goes on!

This is a very important feature.
I also have many duplicate entries because I imported data from multiple browsers and old password managers. Later, I realized that exporting the vault to CSV/JSON and importing it again also causes this problem.
Now, deleting duplicates one by one is very difficult and time-consuming. It is also a security risk, because people avoid manual cleanup and duplicate entries keep piling up.
Proton Pass should bring an auto duplicate detection and merge tool – where website, username, and password are identical, they should be merged or deleted automatically.
Until then, I have created a temporary and free solution – PwdCleaner
👉 https://sudhirdevops1.github.io/PwdCleaner/This tool is completely privacy-first. Everything works offline in your browser – no data is sent to any server. It can remove duplicates from CSV/JSON exports of 40+ password managers.
Proton Pass team, please bring an official auto duplicate removal and merge tool as soon as possible. Thank you.

Same here - I’m stuck with tons of duplicates after importing from different managers. I’d love to see a built-in “find and merge duplicates” feature to tidy up existing entries.

After consolidating my passwords from firefox and lastpass I now have a multitude of duplicates. I wish proton pass would have asked me what to do with duplicates while importing... :(

I’m starting to look for other alternatives for proton. This development velocity with absolutely necessary features is just ridiculous.

I think it should tell you about the duplicates before asking you if you want to delete them

Shocked this isn't already built-in with the importer tool! I've been using 1password and proton pass in tandem for years and finally decided to go all in with proton but now I have a ton of duplicates. After the fact, I'm searching for a solution to clean up the dupes and all i can find is people begging for this feature for years. :(

This one would improve user experience immensely... After importing passwords from multiple sources into Norton Password Manager, I sometimes have 3 or 4 identical login options which is quite unorganised and inconvenient.
