Unlocking browser extension when unlocking the desktop app (connect Proton Pass desktop with Proton Pass in the browser)

IMO it would be great if you could connect the Proton Pass desktop app with the browser extension.

(Coming from 1Password it's a feature I'm missing. That's the name of the setting there:
"Integrate this extension with the 1Password desktop app: When the extension and the desktop app are connected, they lock and unlock together. Biometrics will be used if available.")

    I basically won't use ProtonPass until this is developed 😕. I mean, I delete cookies and all everytime I close my browser, so I have to log in back every time, it's a huge pain.

    After setting Proton Pass up on all of my devices it was a huge surprise that browser autofill is handled this way. Coming from KeePass, which can be clunky and outdated at times, this is a huge disappointment.

    Yes definitely needs connection, and please allow LOCAL BIOMETRICS AUTHENTICATION FOR BROWSER ADD-ON.

    I am new to Proton Pass, migrating from 1Password, Apple iCloud Passwords and Google Chrome passwords.

    In web browsers, e.g., Chrome, the current setting of Proton is default to NO PROTECTION - you can view and autofill the saved passwords from Proton Pass ANYTIME IN THE BROWSER. The lock currently only support PIN and Password for browser add-on and this is obviously not ideal.

    Please consider allowing BIOMETRICS LOCK for browser add-on. Just like the native Chrome Passwords settings, before autofill or accessing saved passwords - REQUIRE LOCAL BIOMETRICS AUTHENTICATION. This is definitely SAFER and MORE EFFICIENT.

    1Password is much more comfortable to use than I found Proton Pass.
    The app and extension must be seamlessly integrated.

    YES PLEASE!!! And as was alluded to in other comments, please tie ALL browser extensions to the desktop app so that when one is opened they are all opened simultaneously - and when one is locked they are also all locked simultaneously.

    (Maybe also tie it in to the other desktop apps like Proton Mail/ Calendar/ Cloud Storage/ Wallet/ VPN so that biometrics/ Windows Hello/ macOS Platform Single Sign-On (PSSO) can lock and unlock all of them simultaneously as well!)

    How was this only not 25 votes? It is a much needed feature and one that I miss from 1Password. I've given myself until October to decide if I go back to 1Password as that is when my subscription renews - hopefully, this feature will be delivered by then.

    also coming from 1Password, this is an essential feature.

    i dont want to have to be unlocking several times,
    especially because i use multiple browsers.
