    How was this only not 25 votes? It is a much needed feature and one that I miss from 1Password. I've given myself until October to decide if I go back to 1Password as that is when my subscription renews - hopefully, this feature will be delivered by then.

    I'm surprised that this request hasn't had more votes. Given the privacy focused nature of Proton Mail it seems silly not to have some sort of password protection to open the desktop mail app. This saves me the need to logout and in every time I finish work.
