Native Mac OS app for Proton Pass
As far as I can tell, on Mac OS, Proton Pass relies solely on browser extensions, which becomes cumbersome when using multiple browser profiles. A dedicated Mac OS menu bar app would provide a more seamless and convenient access method. With a menu bar app, I could:
- Access my passwords across all browser profiles without reinstalling extensions
- Quickly retrieve credentials without switching browser contexts
- Enjoy a consistent password management experience similar to 1Password's menu bar implementation
This would significantly improve the user experience by offering a universal, always-accessible password management solution.

This is incredibly important to me. This is one of those things that won't be life-changing for a huge amount of users, but for those who want to make the most out of the devices and services they pay for, this means the world.
Especially since now you can't use the iPad app installed on Mac to supplement this.

Agree 100%. I don't want to have use an iPad app as a substitute for a Mac OS native app.

I think the issue is they haven't integrated the app into macOS as a password manager. On Mac, Proton Pass does not show up in Settings > General > AutoFill & Passwords. It does on iOS.

I concur. I've already run into scenarios where I needed to access a pw while offline. Plus, at the moment it always feels like Pass and Apple's built-in manager are fighting with each other. Namely, Apple's autofill completely covers up Proton's options at the credential entry boxes.
