Enable communication between ProtonPass web extension and desktop app when offline
Currently, if not connected to the internet, the ProtonPass web extension is useless. Please recognize that use of the web extension is desirable in more than just for websites, specifically for logins and such on a LAN. E.g., I can't login to my pfSense virtual machine on another PC (or even if it's running on the same PC) using the PP web extension even though the PP desktop app is running. The expected behavior, to me, would be that the extension somehow recognizes that desktop PP is running on the system (or on the LAN on another PC!!) and gets data from it, not requiring internet connectivity. Some KeePass versions and extensions do give such useful behavior (KeePass was my password manager before switching to PP, but I have not abandoned it entirely, for I use it to overcome deficiencies in PP.). In general, do not require internet access unless absolutely required (in any software), and allow users to have the choice what data is kept local, on the internet, or both. (Does part of this suggestion ruin Proton's business model? That being that the lock-in to Proton's servers is key? Discuss.)
