Currently, the available custom field types are quite limited (text, TOTP, secret, date).

I would like to see Proton extend the range of custom fields to include field types that are already supported elsewhere in entries, such as:
• Website / URL
• Password (which seems to be treated differently from a generic “secret” field)

This would make custom fields more consistent, flexible, and aligned with how Proton already handles structured data. It would also allow users to better adapt entries to their specific needs without losing the benefits of type-specific handling (e.g. clickable links for websites, password-specific features like visibility toggles or strength checks).
