NO marketing popups in the Proton Pass extension
While hitting backspace to clear the search field in the Proton Pass extension, a marketing popup for Proton Duo came up and DESELECTED the search field. Pressing backspace then navigated me back through several webpages, losing my form inputs. Let me be 100% crystal clear: The Proton Pass extension is a critical tool for performing time-sensitive security tasks. It is in no way acceptable to have marketing popups (on a service I already pay a significant amount of money for) interfering with these critical tasks. If you have a marketing offer, send it by email as you already do on a regular basis.

Just experienced a popup intercepting a click within the proton pass extension. Experiencing 1990's spammy web design really plummets my desire to pay for or recommend proton to anyone. It's hard to switch ecosystems and if proton is going to take advantage of switching costs with bad design to make more money, I'm going to start migrating to a different service. I was trying out Pass as it came with my subscription, but Bitwarden has been fine and never once pulled anything like this.
