Windows app not compatible with strict WDAC policies due to unsigned tmp.node files
Proton pass desktop app for Windows cannot be used in enterprise managed devices with Windows Defender Application Control set to block unsigned files. This is because the app creates temporary, unsigned, .tmp.node files in %appdata%/Local/Temp which are blocked by WDAG, making the app crash. Apparently, Brave browser also had this issue, see https://github.com/brave/browser-laptop/issues/12534 .
The idea is to make the app compatible in this scenario, by either signing these files or not generating them at all.
