Update username and password prompt on Android and PC issue
So, the situation I frequently find myself in is that Signal prompts/asks me whether I wish to update my username and password immediately after logging into a website via a browser using the very input from the app or extension itself. Sometimes this is immediately following setting up the login details external to the browser first, inside Proton
Say, for example, I setup the username and password for website X in the Proton app, create the account and password in X, but immediately am asked if I wish to update when I go to sign in later. I am confused by this, but also a little scarred from history where sometimes the 'new' username, due to autofill or detection errors, is changed from username@gmail.com to <username> or <phone number> or a plank space and password only etc.
However, of more concern is that this can happen immediately after a password change; and then I am guessing if the updated password inside (using the example) X was registered in that app, or if the update in the Proton app or extension was properly recorded.
Can you please consider implementing a new 'more info' feature to this warning/prompt/request, so that the user can see the original username and password, and what the new username and password would be changed to?
Also consider creating a recently modified or notifications section in the app/extension in the case where selecting 'update' or 'no, thanks' would mean losing the data the the client meant to preserve, but selected the wrong option.
