When creating a duplicate of an entry, it doesn't actually create identically same entry, because it strip off the attachments. I have to manually add each attachment, rename every single attachment once again for duplicated entry. Here's an example use case:
If I want to share a secure note with some of attachments after months, I wouldn't share the actual entry. Instead I would create an identical duplicate entry and check every field for validity. There are scenarios where I have to remove many fields or attachments from a shared note. In case of sharing password entry, this becomes even more critical.

Duplication feature is although available, but it requires some major polishing.
Frankly, I also voted for the "De-Duplication" feature request for unintentional, cluttered, and redundant entries.
And IMO the fine grain control of this literally duplicating feature is very effective, especially my day to day requirements.
