Please consider adding a camera scan (OCR) feature to the mobile apps (iOS & Android) to automatically parse and populate new vault items. Manually entering 16-digit credit card numbers, passport MRZ codes, driver's licenses, and national ID details is tedious and prone to typos.

Allowing users to point their camera at a card or document to automatically detect the type and fill in the relevant fields using local, on-device OCR would make adding physical documents to Proton Pass fast and seamless.

It would also be great to include an optional toggle to save the captured photo directly as an encrypted file attachment on the newly created item. Having a visual scan attached alongside the extracted text is especially useful for passports, IDs, and licenses when traveling or verifying identity.
