Allow custom labels/names for website URLs in login items
Currently, a login item in Proton Pass can store multiple website URLs, but they are only displayed as raw URLs. When an account is used across several domains or subpages (e.g. a company login portal, a regional site, a staging and a production environment, or an admin panel vs. the regular user page), it quickly becomes hard to tell which URL is which.
Suggestion:
Add an optional name or label field to each website/URL entry, for example:
Production – https://app.example.com
Staging – https://staging.example.com
Admin Panel – https://example.com/admin
Why this would help:
Faster recognition of the right URL at a glance
Better organization for items with multiple URLs
Less confusion when URLs are long, similar, or not self-explanatory
Why it’s a small change:
This would be a minor adjustment: just one optional text field per URL entry. It doesn’t change how autofill or URL matching works, and users who don’t need it can simply leave it empty. Since custom fields already support names, the same concept could be applied to the URL field with minimal effort.
Thanks for considering this. It’s a small tweak that would make a noticeable difference in day-to-day use!
