Protonpass + Simplelogin Premium End to End Encryption with Alias
I should be able to use end to end encryption with Protonpass + Simplelogin for alias forwarding. I should be able to enter my Protonmail public key in SimpleLogin and have the email encrypted then forwarded to Protonmail. I can do this using Bitwarden & Addy.io SimpleLogin explicitly disables this PGP option for Proton Mail mailboxes, calling it redundant.

FIDO2 Certification
There's a growing number of websites that only allow FIDO2 compliant passkey providers. Would be nice, if Proton would adapt this licence or at least give the user a choice when creating passkeys between it's passkey system and FIDO2 compliant one.

Share custom domains used for aliases with members of multi-user plan
When I subscribe to a multi-user plan (Duo, Family, Visionary), I can create email addresses for other users from any custom domain that's been added via the Proton settings.
However, other users cannot use domains that I have added to SimpleLogin (or now, Proton Pass). Please rationalize the use of domains across Proton Mail / Pass / SimpleLogin so that there's one way and custom domains can be shared with plan users for all purposes.

Proton Authenticator: Automatic backups when changes are made
In my opinion, an option to automatically create a backup whenever changes are made (similar to Aegis) would be much more useful than the existing time-based backup options.
An authenticator app doesn't receive constant updates. Most users only add or remove an account occasionally. Creating a backup immediately after those changes ensures it's always up to date, while avoiding unnecessary scheduled backups when nothing has changed.
Time-based backups (Daily, Weekly, Monthly) could still remain as an optional feature, but change-triggered backups seem like a more practical default for an authenticator app.

Restore the option to enter your username and password within Proton Pass on desktop
Version 1.41.1 introduced a change which caused a user's browser to open when attempting to sign in to Proton Pass, without even asking the user for permission to open a browser window

After creating a new login, Proton Pass should open the new login card OR scroll to its position in the list.
On Proton Pass mobile, after clicking the “create” button in the login creation flow, it would be amazing if the newly created login would be opened after creation.
Additionally, this behavior could be user-configurable and settings, allowing options like: open after creation, scroll to new item in list after creation, or none (existing behavior).

Multiple select - Hold shift to select multiple entries (aliases, logins, etc)
Currently we have the option of multiple selecting entries like aliases and logins, however we are not able to hold shift and select multiple entries at once, rather we have to click one by one, which is the opposite of what a multiple select feature should be.
Please improve Multiple select feature including the capability of holding shift and selecting multiple entries from start to end of the list at once.

Be able to auto-lock browser extensions with extra password, not just pin
Hello,
I would like to suggest allowing the auto-lock feature with the extra password on the browser extension. Currently, this feature is available for the web app but on the browser extension the only auto lock feature is with a PIN, not the extra password. This would allow extra security, and the feature is already (relatively) there since it's available on the web app.

Customize special characters and emojis in password generator
There needs to be a way to exclude Special Characters as some sites don’t support the #, ^, % or other certain special characters. There should be a box next to each special character that can be checked or unchecked.
So it might look like

More Auto-Lock Options: Custom Timeout and Lock on Windows Session Lock
I'm using Proton Pass through the Firefox extension and the Windows desktop app.
Currently, the Auto-Lock feature only offers predefined timeouts: 1, 2, 5, 10 minutes, or 1 hour.
I'd like to suggest two improvements:
- Custom Auto-Lock Timeout
Allow users to define their own timeout instead of being limited to predefined values.
For example, 15, 20, or 30 minutes/hours.
- Automatically Lock Proton Pass When Windows Is Locked
Add an option to automatically lock Proton Pass whenever the Windows session is locked (Win + L or automatic Windows session lock).

Preserve sharing when moving items between vaults or folders
Currently, moving a shared password or other item to another vault or folder removes all existing shares. Everyone loses access, and I have to manually share the item again with each person.
Please preserve existing shares when moving items. This is especially frustrating with the new folder feature, which encourages reorganizing items but makes doing so unnecessarily painful when they're shared.

Allow for longer lock timeouts in the Chrome extension
Right now, the longest lock timeout is 1 hour. During my workday, I'm very often needing to unlock the extension that I used not that long ago (but apparently more than 1 hour ago). I'd love to be able to configure a 4 hour lock timeout (+ auto-lock on system sleep / shutdown).
My scenario is also compounded because I use multiple browser profiles to segregate my personal browsing from various types of paid work. I'll be actively working in one profile, and then switch to another profile to handle something quickly and find that Proton Pass has locked itself.

pass-cli: item view prints Hidden-typed values in plaintext; no safe way to discover an item's structure
pass-cli is aimed at automation and agent workflows, but it currently forces agents to make a choice between guessing blind and over-exposing secrets:
item view (human format) renders secret fields as Hidden("<full plaintext value>"). The type system clearly knows the field is Hidden — it just doesn't redact it. Default output should be Hidden(<redacted, N chars>), with an explicit --reveal (or the existing --field X) opting into the value. Allow sharing passwords witn non-proton users with longer expiry or allow password recovery
The current feature to share passwords with someone else with an expiry date is very useful. However, the maximum 30 days expiry is quite limiting if one wants to share a password in case someone dies or changes responsibilities and is no longer interested in maintaining access to the service protected by the password.
With a 30 day expiry, one has to remember to reshare the password regularly, which may be fine but 30 days means one would have to share again every month or so. Best would be if there were another mechanism.

A Proton Pass login option for biometrics or extra password rather than device PIN.
The setting that enables biometrics with a fallback to device PIN seems to be a weakness to me as you can force the biometrics to fail and device PIN can be weak. I suggest that if an extra password has been added that an option to fallback to that rather than device PIN should be available.
This problem is on a Mac. I see that on mobile devices you can turn off the fallback to PIN and it will force a re-login.

open login links in inprivate
Currently, when using a browser in InPrivate/Private mode, clicking a saved link from a login entry in Proton Pass Current issue with Proton Pass : opens the link in a standard browser window instead of the existing private window.
Please improve Proton Pass’s link-opening behavior so that links respect the browser’s current browsing mode. If Proton Pass is being used in a private window, links should open in that private browsing session rather than switching to a standard window.

Restrict the selection of special characters in passwords
There are websites that do not allow all special characters in passwords, but only certain ones. So far, in Proton Pass, I can only enable or disable special characters entirely. It would be helpful if the password generator also offered the option to restrict the selection to specific special characters (e.g. those copied from a website).

Support autofill on more sites
Before switching to Proton Pass, I used Bitwarden, and it was extraordinarily rare to find a login form that it couldn't autofill (and on the rare occasions it did happen, it seemed like the site itself was actively preventing autofill). But with Proton Pass, it feels as if around a quarter to a third of forms I try cannot be autofilled -- the Proton Pass button doesn't appear inside the input. The reason for this isn't clear; all of these forms have looked standard, and the input elements seemed to have the expected attributes.
