Support autofill on more sites
Before switching to Proton Pass, I used Bitwarden, and it was extraordinarily rare to find a login form that it couldn't autofill (and on the rare occasions it did happen, it seemed like the site itself was actively preventing autofill). But with Proton Pass, it feels as if around a quarter to a third of forms I try cannot be autofilled -- the Proton Pass button doesn't appear inside the input. The reason for this isn't clear; all of these forms have looked standard, and the input elements seemed to have the expected attributes.

The master password should be required whenever biometric data is changed
If the ‘Use system lock if biometrics fail’ setting is disabled in Proton Pass on an Android smartphone, you’ll want to prevent anyone from logging in using the password.
However, if a fingerprint is added in the smartphone settings, this setting can be bypassed.
This constitutes an unintended bug and, potentially, a security risk if the lock screen password is shared, as users may believe they cannot log in to Proton Pass using the password.3 votes -

Allow free users to view all fields in vaults shared by paid subscribers
As a paid Proton Unlimited subscriber, I can create and share vaults - that's part of what I'm paying for. However, when I share a vault with a free user, they cannot see:
- Custom fields on shared items
- MFA / 2FA information on shared items
This creates a real usability problem when I need to share complete login credentials with someone (a family member, a colleague, a client).
The core issue: The restriction is applied based on the recipient's account tier, not based on what the paid user is sharing. I've already paid for the vault creation and sharing feature.…

A drop-down menu of email addresses you own when you create a new entry
What’s very important to me is that Proton Pass either have a separate field in the settings where you can enter all the email addresses that appear when creating new entries, or that all email addresses used with Proton Pass so far be displayed as a dropdown in the email column. I have 8 ProtonMail addresses for different purposes—social media, freelancing, work, household, gaming, tech, etc.—and I have to manually enter the email addresses every time I create a new entry. Approve new devices via SAML SSO instead of the backup password
This is about Proton Pass for Business.
When SSO via SAML is enabled, users still have to set up a Proton backup password for their account. They almost never need it, because they sign in via SAML. The only time it's required is when a user signs in on a new device: they then have to enter the backup password on an already signed-in device to approve the new one.

Ignore Microsoft Authenticator "passwords" (Android)
I cannot avoid using Microsoft Authenticator for work.
But whenever I use it to enter a one-time code, Proton Pass pops up and offers to save the "password".
This is where the online service will pop up a two-digit number, and then the authenticator asks you to type the same number. And then unlock with biometrics. And then let you into thAe online service.
It would be slightly less annoying if Proton Pass could just ignore it.

Manage and copy forwarding addresses for shared aliases
In Proton Pass (on macOS) we can see aliases that are shared with us in a shared vault. However, we can not see its contacts. It would be nice to be able to manage contacts and copy/ send to the associated forwarding email addresses for an alias.

Share credentials with hidden password
You can share a password via Proton Pass, however from what I see, the password is then visible to the one who you shared it with. I would like it if you could choose to share the password, without it it actually being visible, so they can use it via the own Proton Pass app, but don't see the password...

Allow copying item name
When we open any vault item, we are not able to copy its name. Please allow copying the name of the saved item as it can be useful for some use-cases.

Add a "Device" item type for computers, routers, and other hardware
Proton Pass has item types for logins, cards, identities, notes, and more — but nothing for the hardware those items live on. Right now, device details end up forced into a Note or scattered across a custom item.
The ask: a dedicated Device item type with purpose-built fields, such as:
- Manufacturer, model, and serial number
- MAC address(es) — Wi-Fi, Ethernet, Bluetooth
- Assigned/static IP address
- Firmware version + manufacturer support/firmware URL
- Purchase date and warranty info
- Linked login item (router admin, device account, etc.)

Proton Pass and SimpleLogin: select language for the system-generated part of the alias
When using Proton Pass or SimpleLogin to generate aliases, you cannot select the language of the part of the alias generated by the system. Problem: not all possible recipients are familiar with it and that increases the challenges when communicating the alias, especially verbally, with the risk of typos by customer service agents.
Problem: let the user select the language for the alias at the time of the alias creation.
SimpleLogin: an option on the button Custom Alias, like the "By random words" on the Random Alias.

Allow not choosing Proton as the default mail
Presently when creating a login, there is only the option to use my Proton mail email rapidly.
Please allow to manually complete the drop-down with my other personal email address.
This will be much more convenient than manually typing my personal non Proton email whenever I prefer not to use the Proton address

Merge identical password entries when importing
Importing passwords from iCloud Passwords results in multiple entires in Proton Pass when there are multiple websites / URL's assigned to the same username & password entry
For example: When you have the the following 3 URLs configured in a single Apple Passwords entry (example.org, www.example.org and portal.example.org) you end up now with 3 seperate entires in Proton Pass
Pass Monitor also starts complaining about duplicate passwords because there are 3 entires created with the same username & password combination.
The import process from Apple Password should be improved so only one entry is created with all 3 URLs.

Show both username and email at the same time
If a login has an email field, email will be shown. If login has a username field, username will be shown. If a login has both a username and an email field, it currently shows just the username in the overview.
Please add a feature to show both username and email of a login if both fields exist.
