Crucial Proton Pass Improvements:
1) Labels or #Tags to apply to entries
2) Possibility to choose which email to suggest during autofill if I have more than one linked to my proton pass account
3) Definitely improve recognition of Username/Password/TOTP fields (eu.ninjarmm.com for example still doesn't recognize username+password fields, let alone TOTP)31 votes -

Securely get a password from a friend (reverse share feature)
Feature that allows people to securely share secrets with a Proton pass user.
Right now, if I (as a Proton Pass user) want to send a secret to a friend, I can use the share feature. But if my friend (who isn't a Proton Pass user) wants to send a secret to me, there’s no simple way to do it.
A nice feature would be the ability to generate a secure link that I could send to them, where they can paste their secret. That secret would then appear directly in my vault.

Store wifi passwords
Not sure if this is possible on android but Apple offers it by default.
I would love it if saving wifi passwords could be synced with all my devices.19 votes -
Autofill Toggle (email+password / username+password)
Some accounts may have relevant usernames and emails associated with them but only allow for sign in access with one credential type.
For example, Microsoft allows one to log-in via email, phone number, or Skype in their main webpage. I must use my email for this, but Proton Pass' auto-fill defaults to my Microsoft username which is relevant for some aspects of the the account but not relevant for signing into their main webpage.

Add Camera feature to scan QR for Passkey logins Inside Protonpass (Mobile & Desktop)
Lately sites like Google and Amazon have been forcing me to scan a QR code to log in using passkey, which i found the following issues:
On desktop, protonpass extention used to pop up to select the passkey, but lately when the site forces you to scan the QR code to use another device (such as a smartphone)
On my Android smartphone, when I scan the QR code, it says I don't have a passkey, this is because it's looking in my Google & Samsung Pass, even though I've selected Protonpass for Autofill & Passkeys. The only solution for me…

Keyboard shortcuts
Authy's desktop app is (was) handy in that I could switch to the app and start typing, without using the mouse, to pull up the account for which I need(ed) a TOTP code. With Proton Pass, I have to click in the search bar before typing to search. It would be appreciated and convenient if there were a keyboard shortcut to jump to the search bar in the Proton Pass desktop app.
Additionally, it would be beneficial if there were keyboard shortcuts to jump to different fields of the desktop app and to copy or edit them, without having to…

Linux Mobile support
Linux mobile devices are starting to gain traction and maturity. While the ecosystem is not perfect yet, it is becoming increasingly usable. Supporting this movement with well-adapted Proton applications would make a significant difference.
At the moment, however, the current releases are not very mobile-friendly.
For example, Proton Pass is now distributed unofficially on Flathub, and it recently gained an aarch64 release, which was great to see: https://github.com/flathub/me.proton.Pass
Unfortunately, after opening the application on a Linux mobile device, it became clear that the interface is not responsive enough for small touch screens.
Would it be possible to improve the responsiveness…

Password Autofill for Mac
Impossible to use on Mac, due to the inability of ProtonPass to autofill entries. I would like to change from RoboForm (that works flawlessly), because ProtonPass has other features that RoboForm doesn't. Not having autofill for Mac is CRITICAL for me to begin using ProtonPass.

Proton Pass Auto-Update feature.
Proton Pass for Windows does not have an intuitive "Update App" section. Updating the app is tedious on multiple computer because of the need to go to each one and run the new setup after download.
Adding an "Update App" feature in an intuitive area of the app and including an auto-update solution that can be toggled (very important for some power users) so that users can set and know their app is always up to date if they want it.7 votes -

Improve Password Sharing
I wanted to share some feedback regarding the “Proton Pass User” feature.
Currently, when sharing a password with another user, it appears that the recipient also needs to be on a paid plan. I believe it would make more sense if only the owner — the person sharing the password — was required to have a paid subscription, while the receiver could remain on a free plan.
In many real-world situations, users need to share passwords with family members, clients, or team members who may not want or need to purchase a paid plan themselves. Requiring every recipient to upgrade…

Native Mac OS app for Proton Pass
As far as I can tell, on Mac OS, Proton Pass relies solely on browser extensions, which becomes cumbersome when using multiple browser profiles. A dedicated Mac OS menu bar app would provide a more seamless and convenient access method. With a menu bar app, I could:
- Access my passwords across all browser profiles without reinstalling extensions
- Quickly retrieve credentials without switching browser contexts
- Enjoy a consistent password management experience similar to 1Password's menu bar implementation
This would significantly improve the user experience by offering a universal, always-accessible password management solution.
