  4. Automatic passkey upgrade

    Apple's password application in IOS 18 has the ability to automatically update your password with a passkey for websites that support it.

    For those that are unaware of this feature, see: https://9to5mac.com/2024/07/22/this-feature-in-ios-18s-passwords-app-could-one-day-make-the-app-obsolete/

  6. TouchID Support for Firefox/Chrome/Safari Extension

    Instead of just always on or Pin Code unlock, would it be possible to support TouchID in the browser extensions? The main application on MacOS already supports this, so not having this in the Browser Extensions feels sortsighted, unless there's a technical reason for it to not be possible.

  9. Native Mac OS app for Proton Pass

    As far as I can tell, on Mac OS, Proton Pass relies solely on browser extensions, which becomes cumbersome when using multiple browser profiles. A dedicated Mac OS menu bar app would provide a more seamless and convenient access method. With a menu bar app, I could:

    • Access my passwords across all browser profiles without reinstalling extensions
    • Quickly retrieve credentials without switching browser contexts
    • Enjoy a consistent password management experience similar to 1Password's menu bar implementation

    This would significantly improve the user experience by offering a universal, always-accessible password management solution.

  11. Deduplication & Merge Tool for Proton Pass

    Proton Pass currently lacks a native feature to identify and manage duplicate entries, which is a significant pain point for vault hygiene. Especially after importing data from other managers, users often end up with redundant items that must be manually found and deleted. I propose the implementation of a Duplicate Detection tool that scans the vault for identical URLs and usernames. Beyond simple deletion, a "Merge" function is essential to consolidate different notes or historical data from duplicates into a single primary entry. Adding this capability would greatly improve the user experience and help keep the vault organized and clutter-free…

  13. Add Camera feature to scan QR for Passkey logins Inside Protonpass (Mobile & Desktop)

    Lately sites like Google and Amazon have been forcing me to scan a QR code to log in using passkey, which i found the following issues:

    1. On desktop, protonpass extention used to pop up to select the passkey, but lately when the site forces you to scan the QR code to use another device (such as a smartphone)

    2. On my Android smartphone, when I scan the QR code, it says I don't have a passkey, this is because it's looking in my Google & Samsung Pass, even though I've selected Protonpass for Autofill & Passkeys. The only solution for me…

    Not sure if this is possible on android but Apple offers it by default.

  15. I use the Touch ID on my iMac keyboard to unlock the Proton Pass extension on Mac OS browsers firefox and safari

    Hi. I want to be able to use the Touch ID button on my iMac computer's keyboard to unlock the Proton Pass extension on the Firefox browser and on the Safari browser. Currently, only the PIN code is available to unlock the browser extension on this twos browser. Thank you

  16. Add Bitdefencer SecurePass JSON format

    I want to migrate from Bitdefender SecurePass password manager to Proton Pass.
    It can export data within JSON and csv formats, but it is by default not recognized by Proton Pass.

  17. Proton pass trash auto delete

    It would be helpful to have a configurable setting to auto delete items in the Proton Pass trash after x days - ex. 30, 60, 90 days.

    Mail does this after 30 days (though there are requests out there for longer). This would help clean up pass vaults over time.
