Feature Request: Support for "Sign in with Google / Apple" (SSO) detection & autofill
Hi Proton team,
I am currently testing Proton Pass as a potential replacement for 1Password, but I noticed a missing feature that is crucial for my daily workflow: the ability to automatically detect, save, and prompt third-party SSO logins (like "Sign in with Google" or "Sign in with Apple").
Currently, if I click "Sign in with Google" on a website, Proton Pass ignores the action and doesn't prompt to save it. 1Password handles this perfectly by remembering the exact SSO method used and offering it as a 1-click login the next time I visit the site.

Allow sharing passwords witn non-proton users with longer expiry or allow password recovery
The current feature to share passwords with someone else with an expiry date is very useful. However, the maximum 30 days expiry is quite limiting if one wants to share a password in case someone dies or changes responsibilities and is no longer interested in maintaining access to the service protected by the password.
With a 30 day expiry, one has to remember to reshare the password regularly, which may be fine but 30 days means one would have to share again every month or so. Best would be if there were another mechanism.

More Keyboard Shortcuts On The Extension
I suggest adding shortcuts for the following actions to improve workflow speed:
• Autofill login for the current website: A single shortcut that fills the username, password, or TOTP code.
• Autofill card.
• Autofill identity.
• Generate and copy a new random password.

Add a feature to be able to edit titles of saved items in Proton Pass by clicking on the title after selecting it (in the desktop version).

A Proton Pass login option for biometrics or extra password rather than device PIN.
The setting that enables biometrics with a fallback to device PIN seems to be a weakness to me as you can force the biometrics to fail and device PIN can be weak. I suggest that if an extra password has been added that an option to fallback to that rather than device PIN should be available.
This problem is on a Mac. I see that on mobile devices you can turn off the fallback to PIN and it will force a re-login.

open login links in inprivate
Currently, when using a browser in InPrivate/Private mode, clicking a saved link from a login entry in Proton Pass Current issue with Proton Pass : opens the link in a standard browser window instead of the existing private window.
Please improve Proton Pass’s link-opening behavior so that links respect the browser’s current browsing mode. If Proton Pass is being used in a private window, links should open in that private browsing session rather than switching to a standard window.

Restrict the selection of special characters in passwords
There are websites that do not allow all special characters in passwords, but only certain ones. So far, in Proton Pass, I can only enable or disable special characters entirely. It would be helpful if the password generator also offered the option to restrict the selection to specific special characters (e.g. those copied from a website).

This new Enpass feature would be very useful in Proton Pass
Secure Input now deactivates when focus shifts away from Enpass on macOS. Previously, Enpass would occasionally leave "Secure Input" mode active after the app was locked or launched at startup. This prevented other applications from detecting global keyboard shortcuts and blocked the system emoji picker.

Support autofill on more sites
Before switching to Proton Pass, I used Bitwarden, and it was extraordinarily rare to find a login form that it couldn't autofill (and on the rare occasions it did happen, it seemed like the site itself was actively preventing autofill). But with Proton Pass, it feels as if around a quarter to a third of forms I try cannot be autofilled -- the Proton Pass button doesn't appear inside the input. The reason for this isn't clear; all of these forms have looked standard, and the input elements seemed to have the expected attributes.

The master password should be required whenever biometric data is changed
If the ‘Use system lock if biometrics fail’ setting is disabled in Proton Pass on an Android smartphone, you’ll want to prevent anyone from logging in using the password.
However, if a fingerprint is added in the smartphone settings, this setting can be bypassed.
This constitutes an unintended bug and, potentially, a security risk if the lock screen password is shared, as users may believe they cannot log in to Proton Pass using the password.3 votes -

Your windows desktop app shows all totps as tiles. List view, detail view, or compact view would be much better, and of course, sorting from there would be much easier.

Allow free users to view all fields in vaults shared by paid subscribers
As a paid Proton Unlimited subscriber, I can create and share vaults - that's part of what I'm paying for. However, when I share a vault with a free user, they cannot see:
- Custom fields on shared items
- MFA / 2FA information on shared items
This creates a real usability problem when I need to share complete login credentials with someone (a family member, a colleague, a client).
The core issue: The restriction is applied based on the recipient's account tier, not based on what the paid user is sharing. I've already paid for the vault creation and sharing feature.…

favorite logins at the top
For example, I have 5 Google logins, so the one I've favorited will always be on top when the password fill pop-up comes up on the browser. Favorite mark should also show on the Proton Pass Win app

Alternative Identity / Identity Protection for Proton Pass
I’d love to see Proton Pass add an “Alternative Identity” or “Identity Protection” feature for low-risk online activities.
Each identity could include a generated name/profile, masked email address, masked phone number, optional virtual payment card, and controls to disable, replace, rotate, or delete the identity.
The goal would be to reduce spam, tracking, data-broker profiling, and exposure from data breaches by avoiding reuse of real personal information across websites.
This should be strictly privacy-focused, not a way to create fake legal identities. It should not be intended for banking, credit applications, government services, KYC/identity verification, fraud, or bypassing security checks.…2 votes -
Be able to clear "recent" items
Proton Pass automatically lists your logins/items by most recently used/autofilled. While it is helpful, it would also be nice to be able to clear the recent items, like you can clear your recent searches, for example.

Create a separate view for pinned favorite items
It is possible to pin favourite items. However, the pinned objects are difficult to identify visually. Depending on the screen size, only 3 to 6 pinned objects are displayed at a time. As a result, the implemented solution with the pin functionality is of limited practical use.
A dedicated view is required, in which all favourites are displayed in the 'standard' default view.

Add offline access to pass-cli
It’s great that Proton Pass now supports offline access, and it'd be great if pass-cli permitted access the same items as the Proton Pass GUI app. Even read-only offline access with pass-cli would be really useful.

A drop-down menu of email addresses you own when you create a new entry
What’s very important to me is that Proton Pass either have a separate field in the settings where you can enter all the email addresses that appear when creating new entries, or that all email addresses used with Proton Pass so far be displayed as a dropdown in the email column. I have 8 ProtonMail addresses for different purposes—social media, freelancing, work, household, gaming, tech, etc.—and I have to manually enter the email addresses every time I create a new entry.
