  1. default 'Hide my email' alias leaks website name to Proton

    By default the Pass Extension will prefix the website name in the aliased email address. For example uservoice.pacify917@aleeas.com for this website.

    Since Proton / SimpleLogin need to route this alias it will remain readable to those systems - revealing the websites that a user has accounts on (uservoice in the example above).

    The prefix is unnecessary since it could be stored in the E2E metadata of the Alias entry or via a linked ProtonPass Login entry instead of in the email address.

  5. Sign git commits with SSH key

    One feature of 1Password that I find really valuable is signing git commits with SSH keys. In the past, I've tried to set up commit signing with Github through other methods, but 1Pass simplified the process and made it really easy to do. (Details: https://blog.1password.com/git-commit-signing/.) Though this may be a feature that serves a small(er) user base, it factors into whether or not I'd switch to Proton Pass from 1Password.

  6. Allocate secure space from Drive to Pass for secure attachments.

    I look foward to SecureNotes being able to take attachments of secure documents. I know there is ProtonDrive, so build that functionality into ProtonPass so that it can use 100MB shared from Drive for SecureNotes to be able upload attachements.

    Things like ID's, Wills. Bonds, anything important that one has scanned in as pdf and archived the physical docs, and also text documents or PDF with backup codes from MFA need to be accessable from ProtonPass but also secure.

    Im sure alot of users will agree with me to implement the feature this way...

  7. Adding a "hint" that the user sets in the case the user forgets the Proton password

    It would be helpful if there was a hint that could be sent to the email in the case that the user forgets the password. LastPass has a similar feature and worked great.

  8. Random Name (first/last) and Address Generator

    During account creation many websites either require or provide the option to include your first/last name or shipping/billing address.

    To increase privacy I want ProtonPass to recognize these fields and give me the option of inserting my saved Identity (request: https://protonmail.uservoice.com/forums/953584-proton-pass/suggestions/46850884-support-identities) or to insert a random generated first/last name, and/or random shipping/billing address. This information would be saved with ProtonPass record.

    This would save me so much time during account creation and during checkouts.

    Virtual Credit Cards allow users to mask their name and billing address, which is another reason random generators of these kind would be useful.

  9. Duress pin for opening decoy vault

    It would be nice to have the option to set pins for different vaults. With the ability to store decoy credentials for circumstances in which vault access needs to be given under duress (thinking at border checkpoints).

    The option to have the duress pin delete other vaults stored on the accessed device would also be useful.

  10. Show full title on hover when using autofill and extension

    I have several items with long titles which differ on the last few characters, for example:
    1. "some site item user adam foo bar admin"
    2. "some site item user adam foo bar normal user"
    3. "some site item user adam foo bar anon user"
    ... etc.
    When autofill window popups on login page all long titles are shortened to for example:
    1. "some site item..."
    2. "some site item..."
    3. "some site item..."
    ... etc.
    and there is NO popup on mouse hover to distinguish between them.
    The same issue exists in browser extension popup window - too less…

  11. Allowing Grouping capabilities within a Vault

    I think many people would benefit from ability to Group accounts in a Vault to a particular Group. Then, maybe list the Groups at top (or have a setting to where it might sort within vault same as account), or think of the many ways to sort / show them. But, point is that the Group will subsume the Accounts and hide them until I double-click on that Group.

    Let me give an example. I want to create a Vault called, "Eat Out Accounts". Well, I need to move all of our Whataburger, Wendy's, McDonald's, Subway, etc., accounts there. But,…

  12. Import passwords with DualSafe Password Manager

    I'm currently using DualSafe P.M., and I would like to import all of my passwords to my Proton Pass account. I clicked on an option that said "Raw CSV" to import my passwords, but now all I see are entries labeled "Unnamed item" with no usernames or passwords attached.

    It's better to enter a main password when you start Proton Pass for the first time and use another password to go in everyday. Like the PIN but with letter.

    Each time the browser extension is updated, I have to set the PIN manually - again. Why can't it remember and set the same PIN again?

  18. Open links in incognito mode from Proton Pass extension

    When you open your browser in incognito mode and expand your Proton Pass extension, you can open a website by clicking on the link. However, it opens it in regular browsing mode tab. I wish the extension would honor the browsing mode the window from which is being operated from is. When you click on the link of a website from an incognito mode window, it should open it in a new incognito mode tab.

    Vision for the Clustering System: I propose developing an integrated system that allows users to automatically cluster their email aliases within the Proton password manager and ProtonMail.
