  1. Add More Password managers(specifically DuckDuckGo's password manager)

I use Duck Duck Go as my main browser so It would make a difference for me if there was compatability for that.

  2. Delay Alias deletion

When we delete an account online, we usually receive a confirmation email a few days or weeks after we start the deletion process. This means that if we delete the alias used, it will not be possible to receive the confirmation email; if we don't delete it, we may forget to clean it up later.
So it might be a good idea to delete the identity and alias with a delay (7 days, 30 days or 2 months, for example).
This way, nothing is forgotten, the safe is tidy and we have peace of mind.

  3. Store GPG keys

In addition to storing logins, aliases, cards, and notes, it would be nice if we could store GPG keys.

For each GPG key, I want to have a backup of:
    1) my private GPG key
    2) the passphrase
    3) the associated email
    4) the public key

It would be nice if their was a custom type for this instead of having to jerry-rig it into a Login or Note.

  4. Generate random plus addressed email ( And more )

In this feature I'd generally like to enhance the feature of the proton pass alias kind of. The Alias feature already allows auto generating an email for a new Item.

I'd like to request that I can add auto generation for my email address ( my protonmail ) with plus addressed emails and usernames in different combinations:

    There's several feature requests…

  5. Consider switching to a Flarum based platform instead of uservoice

Recently i've been using kagifeedback.org which is a modified version of a Flarum instance: https://discuss.flarum.org/

It's a REALLY good and modern platform for managing feature requests and such. Very versatile and importnatly: open source!

Flarum really feels like it's what Discourse (the forum software) is to a regular php forum and such. I and I think Flarums is that againt Uservoice. Much more customizable and open source.

Obv: Switching over is going to be a pain, no doubt

  6. Randomized Number Positioning on Pin Pad

When showing the pin pad to input the pin to unlock the app on the phone, show the numbers in random positions each time, to avoid people learning the pattern.

  7. Make Session locking server side not client side

When I log into Proton Pass via web browser you can lock the session with a pin code (under security in settings). The problem I see it only does it for that session. I use different computers and OS, reason I use proton pass via web browser. If the settings were saved server side then the pin code lock will work after a certain time no matter what browser or computer you use.

  10. Add option in vault to never autofill.

Sometimes Proton Pass tries to autofill like my SSN or personal information I have stored and I'd like there to be a never autofill option so this never happens for security and personal concerns.

  11. Suggestion for Adding Features to Proton Pass Free Version

    Dear Team,

I wanted to suggest a couple of improvements for the "Notes" feature in the free version of Proton Pass. It would be really helpful if you could add the option to attach images and include clickable links in the notes.

These features would make the notes more useful by letting users add detailed information and access important links easily.

Thanks for considering my request. Looking forward to your response!

  12. TOTP Color

Change the color of the TOTP as the countdown approaches zero, instead of just staying one color for the whole 30 seconds. I suggest the order of green, then yellow, and finally red.

  13. Possible improvements for Proton Pass

    • Add password, username/e-mail and custom fields to aliases
    • Upload your own image for elements, with the option of cropping when uploading (this would be very useful).
    • Light theme on the web
    • Universal account PIN code. When an additional PIN code is created, it is only valid on the device. It would be simpler if it applied to all devices.
    • Automatic filling of 2FA
    • Choose your own colors (on all Proton products)
    • Choose your own vault icons

  14. Password Zoom and Split by 4 digits

It would be great if the password manager had a feature to enlarge the font size of password characters, while also displaying four characters at a time. By swiping to the right, it would show the next four characters in the password, and so on. Essentially, a function like the one in oneSafe 5+. Otherwise, it's extremely challenging to type out a long list of characters without any breaks, especially if the font is small. This feature would be incredibly useful; if it were implemented, I'd switch over right away!

  16. ProtonPass Automatic External Encrypted Backup

Given the critical nature of the data in ProtonPass, it is a bad idea for it to exist in only one place. There should be a supported workflow for automatically (time based, change based) creating a fully encrypted export which is either able to be pushed or pulled to an external service.

  17. Add SSO for Proton Business, use with local Domain Controller | Windows AD

Add SSO, which uses the local domain controller to login into Proton Pass. This would make multi-user password managers more easy to integrate in to the ecosystem. Else each employee has a separate password for the Protonpass.
If possible, create Proton Pass account for selected accounts in the Domain Controller. This is to automate the process of making an account for each employee

This makes it easier for a business to add Proton Pass into its ecosystem. Current providers of such option with password managers are 1Password and KeepassHub.

  18. Identity Theft Insurance

Competitors like Aura offer similar items to Proton but their advantage is that they also offer identity theft insurance as well. I suggest considering offering it with Proton, as Proton overall is a better product for security and privacy.

  19. Set password expiry

There should be a way to enable a way to tell how old a password is for a specific website. There should be a way to enable a 90 Day Password age setting. Which you can enable on a password. Or disable on specific passwords you don’t want it on.

  20. Challenge-response with yubikey

KeepassXC and Keepass2Android have the option to use challange-response to decrypt the database. I really dont trust in only need an pin on my device to keep my passwords and passkeys safe. The KeepassXC Challange-response changes the set of static password (formed with yubikey challenge and a password) every time that the database is changed a bit.
