  1. SplashID import

There are still other passowrd managers. Especilly SplashID was and still is popular among users working off-line. It's nice to enable importing from such managers like SplashID Desktop while desktop version of proton Pass may be available in the future.

  2. Right to Left (RTL) Writing

There's no "Right to Left" writing option so if we write in Persian or other languages like Arabic, it's written from the left side which is not correct. Please add "Right to Left" option if it's possible.

    Thank you so much

  5. Additional Security Passphrase for new Login

I would feel even better if you would have a separate additional security passphrase that you need if you first log in with a new device. I just migrated from 1Password and they have this feature. You need the Email, Password, Passphrase and the 2FA to first log into your account from a new device. I think this extra level of security for a password manager is reasonable and needed.

  6. Faster UI navigation to "Vault", "Alias", "Generator", and "Setting"

I want Proton Pass to offer faster UI navigation to the following sections:

    1. Vault
    2. Alias
    3. Password generator
    4. Setting

Specifically, it should only take one-click to complete navigation.

For example, you can have a vertical tab on the left-side, with an icon representing each section. This allows us to switch between them quickly.

    Why is this important?

    • Bitwarden already has it, which makes their product more usable than Proton Pass. If Proton wants to stay competitive, it has to be at least as good as Bitwarden.

    • I still have SimpleLogin browser extension because it lets me copy my aliases in one-click.…

  7. Manually linking apps

For whatever reasons sometimes Proton Pass doesn't allow auto-fill in some mobile apps (and I have to go to Proton Pass, look for the login for that app, copy, go back to the app, paste, go back to Proton Pass for the password, copy...). Is it possible to make an option to manually link the apps with specific logins/passwords as well as you did with web addresses?
    Thank you

  8. Create spaces to store passwords in a sorted way (work, personal, etc)

I though creating spaces could benefit storing passwords when you want to use proton pass for work as well as for personal or other uses

  9. default 'Hide my email' alias leaks website name to Proton

By default the Pass Extension will prefix the website name in the aliased email address. For example uservoice.pacify917@aleeas.com for this website.

Since Proton / SimpleLogin need to route this alias it will remain readable to those systems - revealing the websites that a user has accounts on (uservoice in the example above).

The prefix is unnecessary since it could be stored in the E2E metadata of the Alias entry or via a linked ProtonPass Login entry instead of in the email address.

The current work around is to create the alias manually and modify the prefix. It would be very…

  12. personal vault

Please let the free plan delete the Personal vault so it can access two shared vaults instead of one (because currently the personal vault is taking up a slot and I can't delete it).

  13. Add Windows Desktop App Option to *Exit* when Closed

When I close the desktop Proton Pass app on Windows I expect it to actually exit and terminate the process. It does not do this and instead keeps running (accessible from its system tray icon). For security reasons this is very much unwanted even with the auto-lock feature. It's also always wasting 300+MB of RAM while it is doing this which is also unwanted.

Please add an option like many similar apps have to actually Exit on Close (or one to Minimize to Tray on Close).

  14. Sort login/items alphabetically case-insensitive in iOS apps

In iOS and iPadOS apps, logins sorted alphabetically show, for example, entries beginning with lower case “a” after all of those beginning with “A”. It would be much more useful to have them mixed together as it does on the web.

  15. Integrate zxcvbn algorithm into Proton Pass

I've noticed that Proton Pass uses a basic password meter to determinate if a password is secure, like the classic "mix lowercase, uppercase, numbers and symbols" algorithm.

I suggest changing that with the zxcvbn algorithm developed by Dropbox instead (I personally recommend the zxcvbn-ts library). In this way, Proton can really tell if a password is secure enough, instead of relying on the classic and obsolete password strength algorithm.

  16. Mouse + keyboard action to select and delete entries

allow users to select unwanted logins with mouse click and ctrl key then delete with delete key. would be useful since there isn't a "remove duplicates" button.

  20. Request for Randomly Generated Secure Passwords with Custom Format

    Hi everyone,

I would like to suggest an enhancement to the current password generation feature in Proton. Currently, the generated passwords are memorable phrases (e.g., "Margarita0-Sedan0-Refurbish6"). While these are easier to remember, they may not be as secure as random passwords.

    My request:

Implement an option to generate random passwords similar to those provided by Apple iCloud.
Maintain the format where letters and numbers are separated by hyphens (e.g., "Abc1-Def2-Ghi3").
    Why this is important:

Randomly generated passwords significantly increase security compared to memorable phrases.
The hyphen-separated format enhances readability and usability without compromising security.
Thank you for considering this enhancement.…
