Option to hide password strength indicator
I’ll take flak for this, but I hate being shamed for pre-existing weak passwords that I imported. I’m very busy every day and the reality is I won’t be spending hours upon hours changing every unique weak password that Proton Pass says I have and given most of them are for useless logins it doesn’t really matter if it were breached. An option such as this could even be buried in the advanced settings.

Paypal login on Android gives OTP instead of password
Hi,
with PayPal (and maybe some other services) you first input the email (works with pass) and in a second step the password.
Pass always gives me in the second step the OTP and not the password, requiring me to open the app and copy/pasting the password and OTP manually.
This situation occurs to me basically every day and is a bit frustrating.

Merge similar entries
Google Contacts has this cool feature that allows you to merge multiple entries into a single record when they are the same but contain slightly different data. As I went through manually adding the 6 different URLs logged by previous password managers for my credit card and deleting the redundant ones, this suddenly seemed like an amazing feature.

Android widget for autofill
It would be good to have a widget, so thst we can click & it would automatically fill the field with the appropriate password. Would also be wonderful if this could be applied to authenticator as well.

Setting to copy URL instead of launching web browser
In the desktop app, there should be a setting so that clicking a website link copies it to the clipboard instead of launching the default web browser. Or at least provide some way to copy the link to the clipboard--there is no way to do that currently.

Vault-Based Contextual Filtering
When I select a specific vault (e.g., "Work") from the main extension navigation, it might be more intuitive and user-friendly if both the autofill dropdown and the list of items within the extension only displayed the credentials stored in that particular vault. Credentials from other vaults (such as personal, freelance projects, etc.) could remain hidden unless I intentionally switch to another vault or choose the "All Vaults" option.
This would also help in situations like screen sharing during a meeting, where it's better not to show personal or unrelated accounts. It would be a simple but effective way to improve…

Option to automatically bring up/focus on search when logging into Proton Authenticator
for those of us who have a large number of entries in Proton Authenticator it would be great if the app autofocused on search so we can easily filter out the entries not needed.
This behaviour is seen in another popular Android authenticator called Aegis.

Make Proton Pass recognize Password-Field on reactive web apps
At least for some password fields, proton (unlike e.g. Firefox Password Manager) does not recognize some password-fields.
For example here: https://demo.filamentphp.com/login8 votes -
Generate a barcode for custom Reward Program records
When I use a reward program code at a store, they usually scan it from a bar code. It would be useful to have Proton Pass generate the bar code from the custom Reward Program record. For this to be useful, the set of reward program records should be easily accessible from the app on the phone, as opposed to having to go down a set of hierarchical menus.

AI agent that bulk changes/updates and renews all passwords
Please create an AI agent that updates and renews all of the hundreds of passwords stored in my account every 4 months and updates the 2FA codes as well. This would make the whole product much more secure since many of the people i speak with don't update their passwords because it takes far too much time.

Easily import cards inspiring from Google Wallet
The new fields types are great but I think an ID card is missing, and I also think we should be able to directly import stuff like cards or subscriptions like Google Wallet, and easily scan wifi code to import for example.

Profiles for Autofill
The Login Page within the app which stores the details of the user should have the ability to store multiple profiles under the same banner/tag. It helps to declutter the home page where a person right now has to make different Autofill details for different Netflix accounts causing repitition of header and a cluttered Home page

Unhide SSN in Identities by default
I just want the ability to see the SSN in an Identity without having to unhide it. The whole point of Proton Pass is to show me the data once I've securely accessed the vault.

Bottom part of left sidebar visually is too overloaded
...most features there could be just icons: pass monitor, lock, generate, sync.
"Get mobile apps" should be shown only once during the first tutorial overlay. I already have all the apps, and I find it a bit annoying that this item keeps showing up and taking up the already limited space.

Improvement to pin feature
Instead of pinning one complete element on the homepage, allow to pin a field of an element and provide action in context of what field type is pinned. For exemple if you pin a password or a PIN and tap this item it will display in large. If you pin a 2FA code it will be shown on the homepage and if you tap it will copy the 2FA…

Travel Mode
1Password has a feature that allows you to designate groups of logins that can be removed from your vault by activating "travel mode" on their website and which will be restored to your devices by deactivating "travel mode." The purpose of this feature is to allow you to hide information when crossing international borders, since border agents in many countries (including the US) can compel you to unlock your phone and show them the contents of your apps, including password managers. This is obviously a severe violation of one's privacy.
I would like to see a similar feature in Proton…
