  1. Be able to upload image(s) to cards, notes, etc

    Be able to upload images to notes, cards and so on.
    For example I have an important document I'd like to keep safe and potentially share it later with somebody, I would be able to do that.

  4. Export passwords from macOS 15 Passwords app

    As of macOS 15's offical release, Safari passwords will no longer exist, being replaced by a dedicated app called "Passwords".

    To export passwords, you must go to Passwords > File > Export all passwords.

  5. Need alternate way to log in to Proton Pass

    Problem: logging into ProtonPass with 2FA requirement is a problem when you work in a place that prohibits all mobile devices

    Proposed solution: Allow an alternate login method just for ProtonPass that works in a similar fashion to 1Password: the first time you set it up on a device (or browser), it will ask for username, password, master seed, and 2FA code.   7. Add Custom Text to Generated Aliases

    Hi Proton Team and Community,

    I’d like to suggest a small but useful feature for Proton Pass. My idea is to allow users to add a fixed, custom text (e.g., "shop") to automatically generated email aliases. This way, each alias could look something like: shoprandomalias@simplelogin.com.

    This alias with the fixed text could be displayed as the second option in the popup window when filling out forms.

  8. Separate (optional) field for Backup codes

    While it is easy to create a new custom text field and paste in the backup codes, it would be nice to have an optional field for pasting in backup codes, which tracks when they're used and allows copying individual codes just like other fields.

    I have extensive experience with Typescript, HTML, CSS, etc. and would be willing to work on this feature if the Proton dev team is interested.

  9. Password Change with History Check

    If I change the password, Proton Pass could check the history of saved passwords (all) and if I wanted to change the password to a password from the history or if it was percentageally similar (the match can be set by the user) to some historical password, it could give it to me right away when creating this password information about it.

  11. KeePass Import (with direct/secure option).

    Currently to import from KeePass it is necessary to export all the password database to a plain-text (non-encrypted) file before being able to import in ProtonPass.

    I'd really be more comfortable if there was a way to directly import from a KeePass database, without "breaking" the security, not even temporarily.

    KeePass is open-source and it should be possible to develop an importer directly (e.g. that requires you the password to unlock the database, and then does everything securely).

  12. Import custom text fields from NordPass.

    NordPass import function is incomplete. PLEASE update ProtonPass to allow for complete importing of Custom Text Fields and Custom Answers. Sadly, I am unable to completely transition to ProtonPass because it does not pull all of my data as I need it to.

    Here is the data as found in the exported CSV file from NordPass:
    The following string is for 4 custom text fields with 4 answers and comes from a single cell on the csv.

  14. PIN Code Management Integration

    Situation:
    Five or more PIN code patterns, each pattern goes from four to eight or more digits, depending on the platforms' or services' PIN code options, which are repeatedly set on multiple platforms in various lengths, non-unique PINs.

    Details:
    Pattern for non-sensitive things like opening car-sharing cars, profile access on any streaming service shared with others, pattern for identifying in front of service employees for support requests.

    Current setup:
    Like crypto asset details, PIN codes are saved in text notes and there is no effective and intuitive management.

  15. Shareable SMS and Email 2FA

    Many outdated websites don't offer 2FA apps yet, and require 2FA via SMS codes texted to your phone, or emails.

    This means that even if I share a login with someone in my Proton vault, they can't log in without me sending them the 2FA code.

    Obviously this is far less secure than the secret key authenticator, but when we don't have a choice it's a necessary feature.

  16. Need to create 'Login' WITHOUT forced to use an email: Many sites use phone or nick as identity.

    On my router admin page I use "MyRouter" as identity. Many sites use other credentials for identity (mobile phone, nick). Pr today (Aug 30, 2024) Proton PASS does not allow anything other than email as 'Username,' this reduces useability for me!

  17. Bug: Proton Pass Firefox Extension on Orion Browser

    I have added the Firefox PP Browser extension.
    I click on the icon to use it.
    It opens up a browser page for authentication.
    I authenticate, and then get this error: https://capture.dropbox.com/oENt0DkDzBG88ViR

    The Chrome Extension works just fine on Orion.

  18. Auto / Bulk change passwords on websites with generated passwords.

    This is a super lofty request but would absolutely crush competition. Allow an end-user to "bulk" change passwords with proton pass's auto generated passcodes (more secure). It would trigger a request to each of the unique domains and (magically) go through their password reset process and change it to the newly generated passcode. If it "fails", just report back a "fail" and those passcodes can be changed manually. It would be amazing to be able to update all passwords simultaneously as part of a routine security measure.

  20. Android Widget for Quick Password Access

    Implement an Android home screen widget for Proton Pass that displays frequently used passwords. Features should include:

    1. Customisable list of most-used or favourite passwords
    2. Secure display of masked passwords
    3. One-tap copying of passwords to clipboard
    4. Option to require biometric authentication before copying
    5. Ability to resize widget and adjust number of visible entries

    This widget would enhance user experience by providing faster, more convenient access to common passwords whilst maintaining security.
