How can we improve Proton Pass?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  2. 'Hidden" text field for 'Cards'

    Please add an 'Hidden' text field/note for 'Cards' in Proton Pass (same as for 'Logins', at the bottom)

    I'd for example want to add a hidden card serial number, not visible as a note, but can't. And doesn't fit in PIN, security code, etc.

  5. Master Password or PIN code asked for specifics logins

    Some of the competitors (Bitwarden, Lastpass, ...) have a feature making more secure some logins.
    This feature is the possibility to ask the Master password or PIN code for specifics login information. Most of the time you keep your Password Manager open the more you can, and sometimes forget to lock it before leaving your computer alone. The automatic lock is not the only answer to this, cause in few seconds someone can use some of our logins before it locks.
    So, with this Master Passord or PIN code re-asked feature we could have this example:

  6. Add documents in general not to specific logins

    Not as it was already requested to add documents to specifics logins, which is also a great idea. Here it is a request to store documents we want to secure and we could need for specific administration information, like passport, id card, etc... We could be free to add them to Proton Pass, if I want to store all the data of my family in my Password maanger, like for 1password or Bitwarden, I should be able to do it also with Proton pass.
    This is really needed in the Proton Pass, or any Password Manager, so you can quickly…

  11. Create simple "fill-in" as needed multiple times per day if working on a computer!

    Major need for "fill-in" that is not a login. E.g., when signing up for a webinar, no need for PW/UN. A daily need!

  13. Ability to exclude numbers,letters,Special Characters

    It would be GREAT to have the Ability to make a custom list to exclude numbers,letters,Special Characters whenever you generate a new password, and to be able to keep that setting. so I don't have to go in each time and reset exclusions.
    A toggle for each category would be great. but mainly a custom list.
    as you know some password requirements don't want certain things
    and there are some letters that I never want to use.
    Note: if these feature already exist they are not as clearly, easy to use.

  16. Have multiple sets of login credentials per main vault entry

    I'm currently migrating away from Kaspersky Password Manager to Proton Pass. In KPM, it is possible for an entry in the vault to have more than one set of logon credentials associated with it. When the web site or app is accessed, a popup appears asking which set of credentials you want to use.

    For example, I have more than one Google account, and also store the login credentials for both of my daughters in case they forget their passwords. In the KPM vault, there is one entry in the main list for 'accounts.google.com' which I have called "Google". When…

  17. Allow desktop app to stay signed in until device locked or log-off

    It would be nice for the desktop app / web app to optionally stay logged in for the entire time that a user is logged into their computer account, unless the device is locked, the user logs off or switches computer account, the screensaver activates, or the computer goes into standby/ is switched off. The same goes for the browser plugins. This would avoid a user having to repeatedly log into PP during the same Windows (or equivalent) session because the plug-in/app has timed out in the five minutes between accessing one web site and the next, or one app…

  18. Selection of existing email addresses

    when being given the option of using your email or an alias, having a drop down of all of your actual existing proton email addresses as well as an alias option would save a few headaches if you not using your primary proton logon email for any web logins and would like to use another of your proton accounts email addresses
