  1. Make the GUI much easier to read and navigate

    Please look at the interface used by 1Password. The text is large and easy to click on. There are 3 panels that organize the information easily: Item choices on the left, choice of items in the middle, and detail on the right. I want to switch from 1Password to ProtonPass but 1Password is way easier to look at and use.

    Also, when I create a new login in ProtonPass, it should go immediately to that entry when I click 'Create'. It does not do that currently.

    Just duplicate what they are doing and ProtonPass will be way better.

  2. make a button that autofills my proton email addresses when creating a new vault

    pretty simple, instead of making me type my proton email where it says "enter email or username", have a button i can press to autofill it

  3. Add option to move search bar to bottom on iOS

    In the iOS app, add some means of searching at the bottom of the screen. Having the search box at the top of the screen is a big reach and the keyboard appears at the bottom of the screen.

    In 1Password you can tap the search button at the bottom to focus the search input at the top, even if you’re already on the search screen.

  4. Making the shown email name consistent when sharing.

    Currently, the email shown in the top-left of Proton Pass is my default email address. Yet, when sharing, in the members list, it shows my original email address. Either showing both as the default (my preference, as it allows more choice) or showing both as the original would seem to make more sense, at least to me.

  5. Sync Passwords or Multiple Usernames

    Be able to sync passwords between usernames. Sometimes it is necessary to have multiple usernames with the same password e.g. in company networks with LDAP. Sometimes the login is with usename@company.com or just the username.

  6. Misleading Password Updating Hint

    I logged in to my Firefox account and changed my password with your password generating tool and saved it.

    Then I try to login again to see if Proton Pass worked properly. For some reason I don't have to type my password (maybe mozilla.org doesn't really logged me out), but Proton Pass asked me to update my saved password and override it with my old password.

    Now I lost my generated password and I have to recover my account at mozilla.org.

    Please fix this misleading password updating hint.

    P.S. I can't even received the login email with my Proton Mail…

    The field exists in SimpleLogin but you have to login to that site to enter it. I don't see any access to the field in Proton Pass

  10. Do NOT display a context in notes on main screen

    Hello!

    You should NOT display a context in notes, as you are doing now. Because YOU are proposing to use them as storage for PIN codes or something like this.

    Also it will be good to have an ability to copy entire note with one button.

  13. Slow and unnecessary transitions

    Some of the transitions/UI in the extension are pretty unnecessary or slow.

    • The fade-in when opening the extension window is slow and unnecessary. Opening windows should be quick.
    • When clicking a text field, it's pretty slow to open. Both because of the transition and because there's a 100-150ms delay between mousedown and transitionstart.
    • The dropdown menus in the extension window should open on mousedown.

  14. Browser URL favorites

    Browser URL favorites.
    I don't know if is possible but I would like to have favorites (URL) saved on my wallet and not on browser but connected to my ProtonPass browser extension.
    Maybe if deleted will delete also offline synced urls.

  16. Soften up on "Session locked due to inactivity"

    Some minor feedback.
    Every time I come back to the password manager, I see a popup "Session locked due to inactivity" message. It is red and makes me sad, like I did something wrong. If I need to enter my PIN, I already understand why - I set things up to lock after a while. I don't think this message is necessary.

    I will be scrolling through, looking for a password or making a note when I get locked out due to inactivity, despite me actively doing something and interacting with passwords and notes.

  20. Proposal for Secure Login to Proton Pass via QR Code or Email Confirmation

    I have a suggestion. For example, if I want to log in to my Proton Pass on a friend's computer, but I don't want to type my password. Have you considered adding a way to log in using a QR code or with an email confirmation? That way, I could log in to my Proton Pass without having to type my password on someone else's computer. It would be great!
