Proton Pass - Password Manager
How about a service like LastPass or 1Password to make it easy to store all passwords and secure notes either online and synced with other computers and devices, or locally on one device. A secure password manager using the best of ProtonMail/ProtonVPN services

can y'all implement a password manager that notifies the user whenever the person's login credentials are entered into any of the websites that they save in this password manager?

Great idea! The notes app should also have built in voice memos along with written notes.

given the unchallenged trust in security surrounding Proton products, I'd consider it a no-brainer to also introduce a Proton Password manager to the family.

it seems your so good at encryption that you should also provide a secure applet that works when your signed into proton mail or VPN for password management with the added ability to store some important stuff files and documents / note pad / calendar with email reminders or notifications (anyway you want to set it up) and I do believe this will bring more traffic to your 8 dollar a month subscriptions. even if you just added password management. I'd pay for the $4 or $8 a month sub...

I would love to see a Proton 2FA app as an alternative to Google authenticator. The ability to scan QR codes and attach 2FA to my accounts, all protected by Proton would be awesome.

Why not just use Bitwarden? It's free and open-source and widely trusted by the FOSS community.
Would seem like a waste of time and effort to have an identical service just with Protonmail branding.

Please don't waste resources on something that already exists elsewhere.

Implementing an opensource password manager for yourself is easy and you don't have to write a single line of code, everything already exists. All with GUI and portable between all devices. The necessary components are:
- a remote git repository (it's fine on GitHub too, the data you put on it is client-side encrypted),
- git installed locally
- gpg to manage encryption
- qtpass (to manage keys in the desktop environment)
- Password Store app on android (openkeychain must be installed)
- Browserpass, to integrate with browser (brave, firefox)
You can figure out how to put the pieces together, it's all already on the internet, anyway I'm happy to talk more about it. -
