Unlock browser extension with biometrics
Option to use touch ID or a fingerprint to unlock the browser extension.

I makes me really uncomfortable that the extension auto-unlocks and I really don't want to have to remember another pin code.
For the Web Extension using the Browsers WebAuthn API they could add support for both Security keys like Yubikey and Device Biometrics like a laptops fingerprint reader.
This would also bring better alignment to the mobile apps. -

Yes, this would be very useful. Also, biometrics to open the main app, outside of a browser. I have been using Kaspersky Password Manager on my phone, and using the biometric fingerprint scan saves so much time, as well as being more secure. For Android users as well as just the Apple users, of course.

+1 having fingerprint makes it more secure than having to type a PIN.

+1 to unlock with Windows Hello
Unlock browser extension using fingerprint would be a huge improvement. Don't know if this is technically possible from the extension but as we have a Desktop App now, it should be possible to do it the same way bitwarden does. -

Would be nice if the (MacOS/Desktop) Pass version would be secured by biometric check if you want to open / use it. Already implemented in the mobile version (FaceID).

Would love this on Windows + Mac. On Windows would love to see full Windows Hello suport.

Not only with macOS but with Windows as well through Windows Hello

This is the only thing holding me back from switching. Until then Bitwarden is much more convenient on MacOS.

Same goes for Bitwarden : unlocking of browser extensions is done via a bridge to the app, using TouchId.

This is critical - all passwords are exposed via browser extension without this feature. Others using your device will have access to all passwords; same if device is remotely operated.

I moved from Bitwarden and now I see how much I miss this feature.

This!
Works on some other password managers, and would make it so much easier to use! -

Please, implement a way to unlock Proton Pass with touchID on MacOS, typing PIN is kinda annoying. 1Password has some pairing bridge between app and browser extension.
