Form Fill Shortcut
Needs a shortcut to fill out forms automatically like Ctrl-Shift-L that Bitwarden has. This feature is critical when you use only a keyboard for browsing.

This feature is why I keep using Bitwarden

Duplicate, please vote in both places (or can mods merge the idea)

This is a small feature but it's frustrating not to have it. 😉

This seems to be duplicate/similar to https://protonmail.uservoice.com/forums/953584-proton-pass/suggestions/47666525-autofill-totp-and-credentials-with-keyboard-shor .
Who can merge those?

Tried Proton Pass a year ago. Saw that this shortcut wasn't available so I went back to Bitwarden.
This morning I thought to myself: "hey, let's try Proton Pass again, it's been a whole year, surely there's must be keyboard shortcut by now!"
🙂

I use it all the time on bitwarden. Not having a shortcut for filling password is a no-go for me

having a keyboard shortcut is just essential, not having it slows me down a lot

I was going to create a new post about the exact request. This is a very critical feature for my workflow. I would like to use Ctrl+Shift+L for autofill but a custom keybind is not a bad idea. The absence of this feature tempts me to fallback to Bitwarden.

It's quite baffling there is no option available to create a form-fill shortcut yet, as this post is over a year old and the comments cleary demonstrate the crucial need for this feature.

this is very critical for any password manager.
to much clicking and switching between windows otherwise...

I also come from BitWarden and hate it when the “Form Fill Symbol” is always displayed and completely destroys the form in 5% of all websites due to the CSS.
I would also like to be able to hide the form fill symbol and only use shortcuts to make the input
I use the Chrome plugin.

How is this not implemented yet? I've been using Proton Pass since March anticipating that I'd be able to configure a shortcut key for filling a form before long. Guess I was wrong.

This is critical for me as well. Happy to switch to Proton pass once it's available

A shortcut to fill out forms is critical for Proton Pass to compete with 1Password / Bitwarden and services alike.

This also dramatically increases UX when you have multiple Credentials for the same Page. Autofill will likely give you the wrong credentials from autofill. A hotkey to rotate between different creds for a page were super convenient.
Also coming from bitwarden and I really live this feature there. -

This would be incredible handy, sometimes the icon on login-fields doesn't show up correctly so a keybind would solve this.

I am strongly considering switching from Nextcloud, Mullvad, and Bitwarden to the Proton app suite. At the moment, the lack of this feature is preventing me from making the switch now. I prefer keybinds whenever possible, and I love being able to use Ctrl-Shift-F to fill my login using just my left hand. Would love to see this added.

I use a vim-like setup on all my browsers, specifically on my laptop. I am not kidding when I say that I NEVER reach for the trackpad while browsing other than to click on the login credentials with Proton Pass. Proton Pass alone is increasing my trackpad usage (which I have gone to great lengths to minimize) by 100%.
And it's absurd seeing as how it's nothing but a dropdown menu, the kind we've been using TAB and/or the arrow keys to browse with zero issues on every other software for decades.

Security and accessibility issues aside, not having an autofill hotkey is a dealbreaker for me. Signing in using the Bitwarden extension is very easy, and I will be using it until ProtonPass implements this feature. As soon as this feature gets added, I plan on dropping Bitwarden and using ProtonPass exclusively.
