Customize password generator and configure default settings
Generate password generates passwords that are long, Some websites have limits on the length of the password. It would be nice if we can control the length of the password and also the kind of characters in the password(alphabets/numbers/special characters)

Shocked that this doesn't have more votes! I came onto the Proton Pass forum just to find and vote on this, I was assuming it'd be in the first couple of pages.

Extend the passwords from 64 characters to 512 as other password managers

Ampliar las contraseñas de 64 caracteres a 512 como los demás gestores de contradeñas -

For password - give us an option for minimum special symbols, capital letters, numbers, option to not use easily mistakable symbols (eg uppercase i = lowercase L, letter O with number 0)
For passphrase - option for randomize capital letters, option to have different amount of digits (eg. Chair12-table0-Book-Candle894) -

I agree that Proton Pass should give users the ability to configure the length and type of characters in generated passwords - just like Bitwarden

Hello
What do you think about expanding 64 characters to 100 characters or more?
Like 1Password or Kaspersky Password manager

I agree that Proton Pass should give users the ability to configure the length and type of characters in generated passwords.
Additionally, it would be beneficial if users were able to switch between generating random passwords or choosing a memorable password when creating new entries via the web browser extension. Having this option available could provide more flexibility for users who need more control over their security settings.

I am used to creating large passwords in Bitwarden up to 128 characters. Also I could generate passphrases (word passwords) up to 20 words.
It would be great if Proton Pass could create passwords up to 128 digits or 100 digits. Also, I would welcome the creation of longer passphrases.
This would make my paranoid thinking much easier.

As of now on sign-up forms strong password are suggested, but not memorable ones. For memorable passwords I must create a new login directly in pp. It would be nice if i can choose that pp suggest memorable password on sign-up forms instead of random passwords.

I find that I keep having to change the length of my preferred new password. I'd like, as with Dashlane, to be able to save my preferences

Also the password rules are different on different sites. One site might just allow 16 characters and another more.
The ability to select the number of characters in a password with something like a slider where you can size the password from 8 to 128 characters would be great.
Also the ability to choose to include or not special characters like symbols and numbers since the requirements differ from site to site.Memorable words. Ability to generate a password from memorable words. Like duck-Proton-aluminum-BOTTLE. Also they’re being able to choose the number of words.

I would like to be able to edit the default number of characters for passwords, too. Also, I would like to be able to select the default domain for email alias (i.e., I prefer a .com to a .net address).

Bitwarden currently allows generating passwords of up to 128 characters; surpassing that number would put Proton Pass ahead of Bitwarden.

I tried to create a password for X website, but...used to Apple's Keychain, I'm also used to 3 words, 20 character passwords and the app does not allow me to choose how many characters should be use by generated pass's.
