Domain URL matching rules
Proton pass should have URL matching rules like bitwarden. This makes it easier to handle different usecases.
For instance, at work I have different usernames/passwords on different subdomains and I would like to be able to limit certain credentials to specific subdomains and have others shared accross multiple subdomains.
So that would be great to have a diffrent matching rules like:
- root domain
- hostname
- starts with
- regex
- exact match
- ...

This is extremely critical for my use case as well. Highly configurable URL matching rules are a must!

This is a basic requirement, essential in all but the most rudimentary password manager. Very surprised this has been overlooked by the Protn Pass team. Please prioritise.

The only reason to unsub from Family. How the **** such basic function is not implemented and not prioritized above unnecessary extras way higher in the list.
I really don't get it, watching this for over 6 months... -

This is a critical feature for me. The lack of it makes my credentials in some scenarios nearly unmanagable. Hard to believe that nothing happened on this issue for more than half a year now.

Will switch from bitwarden as soon as this is implemented.

Critical for me, fed up of multiple login options when a domain uses multiple subdomains. This is (surely) very basic functionality and I doubt would take long at all to implement at all. Please make it happen.

Lack of this feature makes Proton Pass almost a no-go for me.

I am already using Proton Pass for it's SimpleLogin integration. However, this feels like such a basic feature! For example, my college has many subdomains under their main domain for things like classwork and such, and it's annoying seeing 3 individual logins whenever I am trying to login to one of them!

This is also a very important feature for me.

If a password manager wants to be relevant this is a must.

I host a lot of apps with same username but different password. This is EXTREMELY necessary feature. Already using ProtonPass but considering switching to bitwarden due to this being a pain on the ***.

+1, not switching from Bitwarden until this feature exists. I have multiple apps running under my domain and matching to subdomain is critical for me.

I'd love to see this feature!
I selfhost a bunch of apps under the same root-domain.
It's annoying to see all available logins for my root-domain with Proto Pass. In Bitwarden resp. Vaultwarden I am able to change the URL detection to "host". -

I would love to switch to Proton Pass but I won't be able to until this feature is added. I self-host a lot of apps and use different passwords on each app and its subdomain. Bitwardens matching allows me to use "Starts With" matching which will only show the correct password on each subdomain. Right now Proton pass shows all 10 mixed together.

Had to go back using bitwarden while waiting for this feature to be added, protonpass looks better ui/ux but this is really one of the missing feature to be able to use it correctly on subdomain and exact url match.

Same here. When there are a lot of subdomains or shared domains, it is a pain not to have this feature :)

I won't switch to Proton Pass without this feature. Absolutely mandatory. I'm staying with Bitwarden.

I'm slowly coming around to the way Proton Pass does URL matching with URLs included on each password entry versus the global URL matching that LastPass does.
Regardless of whether Proton Pass continues having URLs managed in individual password entries or globally at some point, each URL entry should have a way to configure how it will match. I hope to see options for:
- "full URL" to match the whole host address, port and full path
- "exact host" to avoid matching any subdomains
- "exact port" to avoid matching services on the same host which use different ports
- "exact path" to ensure matching a for login page, and not a user management pageAllowing regular expressions with these options would make an incredibly powerful and flexible way for users to control when matches are offered.

Also waiting this feature…
I am in the same use case both, for work and for personal. -

This is massive and the primary reason I am not using ProtonPass yet.
