Add support for HTTP basic authentication
If a website requires Basic Authentication, the browser creates a login prompt and at the moment it's not possible to use the proton pass browser extension to fill the credentials, This is already supported by 1Password.

Every other password manager supports this. Shouldn't be that difficult to implement. Even if most users don't use websites with basic auth it's very annoying for us who do that this feature is missing.

Is critical for me for switching from 1Password to Proton!

Disappointed to see no movement on this at all.

This would be very nice!

Bitwarden also handles this very well with automatically logging into the protected website.

This! ProtonPass automatically assumes all logins are via Https which really sucks if you have a LAN network that relies on basic Http.
