Additional vault item types
Since I'm honestly too lazy to create multiple ideas I'll just post them as one, sonce they all are just different types or options of item types which should definitely be usable in proton pass, apart from log-ins, notes and the three other options:
1. Item types:
• Bank account
○ Bank name
○ IBAN
○ BIC
○ PIN
• Passkeys
• Identity incl.
○ Name
○ Surname
○ Middle name
○ Initial
○ Short name
○ Instagram name
○ Gender
○ Title
○ Birth date
○ Birth place
○ State
○ Company
○ Phone
○ Mobile phone
○ Address
○ Job title
• E-Mail addresses incl. application passwords
• Companies
• Wifi/Router data
• ID Card
• File upload (e.g. for tax certificates)
• Tax Number
• Tax ID
• Driver licence
2. Options for every Login item:
• Groups (should also be pickable/generatable directly when saving a new login)
• Tags (should also be pickable/generatable directly when saving a new login)
• Subdomain on/off switch (should also be pickable/generatable directly when saving a new login)
• Multiple log ins (Usernames and E-Mail) (should also be pickable/generatable directly when saving a new login)
3. Options under every item type:
• Custom fields with individually pickable custom names (Example: Field name: testfield, Value: test)
○ Text
○ URL
○ Date
○ Address
○ One Time Password
○ 2FA Backup
○ PIN
○ Application Password

Yes, in my country there's a couple of extra fields that are usually asked for when using cards, and it'd be more convenient to have that information in the entry.

Today I needed to store extra information for one of my cards, and I realized cards don't support custom fields.

Obviously manually filling in credit card numbers on a website sucks. Or even copying them in. Not the end of the world, but is a basic feature in probably every other major password manager.

Just noticed these don't exist. Didn't come over on my import from 1Password as a result. Can always look back to 1Password for these, but never sure if something had custom fields or not. Also, as I add new credit cards there's nowhere to put any custom fields since 1Password is only there for me now for what was there when I dropped it for Pass. Can't update it anymore.

Either auto-detect or ability to manually choose the brand with corresponding icon

Would be great if the identity type could be updated as follows:
- automatically create 'full name' field (enter first, middle and last name separately with option to change the 'full name' field if necessary)
- date input for birthdate instead of text field
- address auto-complete / validation + translations (for international shipping) -

This would be very nice as having Pass Monitor flag all my pins as weak passwords reduces the usefulness of Pass Monitor

I love the fact that we can add custom fields to Pass entries. I’d like to be able to customize the list of available fields so I don’t have to create a text field and name it the same thing across multiple entries.
For example, I am storing my recovery keys in Pass (not my Proton recovery keys, of course) and, rather than put them in a generic Notes field, I am adding a text field labeled “Recovery Keys”. I’d like to be able to add that to the Add Field drop down menu. -

To facilitate the centralized management of service access information, we propose adding a new feature module that supports saving the following details:
IP Address/Port: For direct access to the service via IP and port.
Domain Name: If the service is associated with a domain, record it for easier identification and access.
Username: The username used to log in to the service.
Password: The login password corresponding to the username, which should be securely encrypted when stored.
Private Key: If the service requires authentication via SSH keys or other types of private keys, the private key content or file should also be supported.
Additional recommendations:
All sensitive information (such as passwords and private keys) should be securely encrypted to ensure data protection.
Support creating, editing, and deleting records.
Allow searching records by service name, IP address, domain name, etc.
If access control is implemented, manage permissions to restrict users' access to sensitive information accordingly.
This feature will help improve the standardization and efficiency of service management.

I don't see option for creating custom fields in Pass and Contacts (which should have its own app, save me from Google Contacts), which is surprising. In Bitwarden, you can create custom fields in any item, defining what the field is and filling in the space, and without that I'm finding it almost impossible to make the switch.
And for Contacts, it would be nice to create our own fields for missing items, especially adding more relevant dates and defining what they are in the contact card.

Once having created a custom field it would be nice to use in other items rather than have to recreate it each time. It would also be nice to be able to move the order in which the custom field appears. These two may be addressed by other ideas already posted but I didn't see it explicitly.

I miss all the points mentioned and are almost essential and critical for me. Unfortunately, I'm thinking about staying with the competitor again.

Forms often require separate first name and last fields. It would be nice to have Proton Pass fill these in from the identity. Currently, it places the full name in the first name fields on a website

I have an idea for a new feature that I believe could greatly enhance the security and convenience of managing our personal documents.
Feature Idea:
I propose adding a feature to the Proton app that allows users to securely store their ID photos, driver's licenses, and other important documents. Additionally, users should be able to generate attachments with watermarks specific to the recipient (e.g., "Assurance XYZ") when they need to share these documents with third-party services. This would help prevent the misuse of these crucial documents if they are stolen or lost.
Benefits:
Enhanced Security: By storing documents in the Proton app, users can protect their personal information from theft and loss.
Convenience: Users can access their documents anytime, anywhere, without the need to carry physical copies.
Authenticity and Fraud Prevention: Watermarks ensure that the documents are authentic and unaltered. Moreover, if a document is stolen, the watermark (e.g., "Assurance XYZ") prevents it from being used fraudulently with another service (e.g., "Bank ABC").How It Could Work:
Users upload their documents to the Proton app, where they are securely stored.
When a document needs to be shared, users can generate an attachment with a watermark specific to the recipient directly from the app.
The app ensures that the documents are easily accessible but also protected against unauthorized access.I believe this feature would align well with Proton's commitment to privacy and security. I would love to hear your thoughts and feedback on this idea!
Thank you for considering this feature request.

In addition to things like credit card numbers and frequent flier numbers, another thing I'd like to use Proton Pass for is to store subscriptions, with their monthly or yearly or ??? cost and expiration date (if there is one).

It would be useful to insert additional fields in card type records. Banks add a two-factor system with 3DS security code but it is not possible to add it in the card data
