Additional vault item types
Since I'm honestly too lazy to create multiple ideas I'll just post them as one, sonce they all are just different types or options of item types which should definitely be usable in proton pass, apart from log-ins, notes and the three other options:
1. Item types:
• Bank account
○ Bank name
○ IBAN
○ BIC
○ PIN
• Passkeys
• Identity incl.
○ Name
○ Surname
○ Middle name
○ Initial
○ Short name
○ Instagram name
○ Gender
○ Title
○ Birth date
○ Birth place
○ State
○ Company
○ Phone
○ Mobile phone
○ Address
○ Job title
• E-Mail addresses incl. application passwords
• Companies
• Wifi/Router data
• ID Card
• File upload (e.g. for tax certificates)
• Tax Number
• Tax ID
• Driver licence
2. Options for every Login item:
• Groups (should also be pickable/generatable directly when saving a new login)
• Tags (should also be pickable/generatable directly when saving a new login)
• Subdomain on/off switch (should also be pickable/generatable directly when saving a new login)
• Multiple log ins (Usernames and E-Mail) (should also be pickable/generatable directly when saving a new login)
3. Options under every item type:
• Custom fields with individually pickable custom names (Example: Field name: testfield, Value: test)
○ Text
○ URL
○ Date
○ Address
○ One Time Password
○ 2FA Backup
○ PIN
○ Application Password
Custom sections to divide the custom fields

I will add my voice to this. I really want to move to protonpass, but i can't since its crucial to have ability to attach files and store programmers stuff:
- ssh keys
- Server credentialls (user, host, password/ssh-key, link to admin page)
- db access
- files (i have some digital signatures files that are used for signing documents for tax forms)
- notesWhen there will be such fields i'd happily ditch my 1pass subscribtion and switch to protonpass

Or just custom vault items. Let me make the fields and whatnot.

Indeed I also have accounts that use at least three entries on the login screen. This should be recognized, saved and used for autofill by Proton Pass

That's the only reason I don't opt for a paid subscription. Please add it as soon as possible

Could also include Venmo/PayPal username or even, crypto wallet addresses with integration with Proton Wallet.

Custom fields are helpful, but there is a lot of commonality in various fields that should be supplied as part of a standard (or use a standard if one exists; I am not versed in this). Tangential to this, we should have a way to flag a field as sensitive, and some existing premade fields that exist today, like SSN, should be hidden like passwords by default. Adding a way to modify existing fields (and custom fields) would also be helpful.

Just add us the option to create custom fields. https://protonmail.uservoice.com/forums/953584-proton-pass/suggestions/48739109-add-remove-custom-fields

Yo can use two different approach to can store a lot of data type. One, doing the same as 1Password, defining a lot of data types. I think that this way is very confusing. The second one it's make existing types more flexible. This post goes by the second one way ;-)

Please, this would be great. It's something that Bitwarden do and make it more flexible becasue you can save a lot of data types, for example server o database credentials.

1. We need the zip code field for credit cards;
2. We need option to add/remove custom fields;
3. We need option to show only selected fields.Imagine we have an american credit card. It has zip code.
Let me add own custom field: zip.
I also want to add billing address field.Let me choose what type of fields are: secure (hide information as a card number) or open (like notes).
Let me to choose what fields I want to see when open the card. I don't have any notes so I don't need an empty note field.
I want to show covered zip code and open billing address. I don't want to show pincode field coz it's empty and takes space. Also note field eats space but it's empty.
Also I don't want to show some custom fields but I want to have this information when I open to edit. Why? If I share the card I want to give only visible fields, not hidden

Some of this is now possible with the new Identities feature.

Need a pin code option instead of passwords for few apps/websites ...... Why? because password monitor flags it as weak password while it is a good numerical pin code

Like 1Password, should useful keep signed the account where a social login it's used (Google, Apple, etc.) - and import this settings if it's available during Switch from other providers ;-)

Has this feature been added yet? Nordpass didn't have it. Was an absolute pain. 1Password does have it, but they allow recipients to see shared passwords - absolutely mental.
I'd like to move to Proton pass if they save SSO. -

As there are more and more digital cards e.g. identity cards, health insurance cards, driving licenses etc. which have online functions and therefore PIN / PUK I suggest to include them.
- ID Card (Alphanumeric)
- Name (type)
- Valid until
- PIN CODE
- PUK -

This would be amazing if these new category types can also be auto-filled on the browser like Dashlane does. For example, filling out web forms with your name, address, phone number, etc. with information that's already in Pass would be a huge timesaver and a super useful feature!

I can't even add PUK code or additional PIN code for my credit card entries. Why?

Currently the 'card' login type is very limited and it does not allow additional parameters to be added. My bank's have various codes, safe words and other details that I would like to all keep under one login type and not need to create a login for each bank.
