Clarify use case scenarios of Proton Pass autofill feature
I think that my installation of Proton Pass, which includes the Windows desktop app, the brower extension, the phone app, and the web app, used to offer to autofill website logins more often than it currently is doing so, As such, I would like more information on what affects autofill and how to configure things which make autofill offer suggestions for ID and password for website logins. I realize that websites may be developed such that they prevent autofill from offering suggested login information, but how that happens would be good information to know also. Currently, migrating 2FA codes from other password managers to Proton Pass is painful. Users must manually re-scan QR codes for every single account, which can take hours for users with many 2FA-enabled accounts. This migration friction prevents users from switching to Proton Pass.
Requested Feature
Smart 2FA Key Recognition and Import
Allow users to simply paste 2FA secrets in various formats, and Proton Pass automatically recognizes and converts them into working TOTP codes.
Supported Formats
Base32 secrets (e.g., JBSWY3DPEHPK3PXP)
OTPAuth URIs (e.g., otpauth://totp/Example:user@site.com?secret=ABC123&issuer=Example)

Trash should not be a Vault (i.e., excluded from All Vaults)
Suggest renaming "Trash" to "Archive" and automatically excluding it from the "All Vaults" view. I would also like to see a boolean flag added to each "Vault", which determines whether it should be shown in "All Vaults" view or not, because I would like to create archive vaults of my own.
The point is, it should be possible to store data long-term without it getting in your way on a day-to-day basis or cluttering the autofill options for various sites and services. Items in the Trash should not even be considered IMHO, and the same for any Vault that is…

Pepper you passwords
Proton should better support the use case of salting/peppering passwords. This means manually typing a short suffix at the end of important passwords, such that the suffix is NOT stored in the passwords manager. That way, if the master password is compromised the attacker will not have access to those passwords. The same suffix is used for all important passwords making it easy to remember. Icon for aliases
You can have aliases, but the name is random. Thankfully, there's a chance for that name to be using words that can be represented with a visual element.
Our brains are made to memorize things better in the long run when using visualization. So instead of just incognito icon, users should be able to pick their own icon, and, preferably, the icon can also shown in the protonmail aliases.

LogMeOnce Import
Adding import support for LogMeOnce.
For passwords they're able to export in .csv, so that already works, but it does not allow you to transfer secure notes, or wallet items. Those end up as passwords with bad entries currently, or end up as corrupted lines.
These would be good features to add.
One can either add functionality for their specific LogMeOnce File, or somehow add a specific .csv input to add/debug that functionality.

Remove Proton account name on locked desktop app?
On a locked desktop app, I feel that the account name shouldn't be visible.
But then that gives the question, how would a multiple Proton account user login to their other accounts. What step in the desktop app would allow them to login to their other accounts.
Or maybe if you're only login to one account, don't show username on locked screen. And if you have signin to multiple accounts you can click a button to take you to other accounts. But first locked screen to not show the main account name.

Selection of existing email addresses
when being given the option of using your email or an alias, having a drop down of all of your actual existing proton email addresses as well as an alias option would save a few headaches if you not using your primary proton logon email for any web logins and would like to use another of your proton accounts email addresses

Automatically fill in the passkey
When the browser requests a passkey input, the Proton Pass browser extension opens a pop-up, and the user has to click on the icon in the pop-up to fill in the passkey.
It would be much faster and smoother if the passkey is filled automatically and the user does not have to click another time.

Add The Locked Proton Pass Tray Icon To The Windows Application Like The Proton Pass Chrome Extension
The proton pass chrome extension shows a nice lock icon while it is locked and it looks very good when the extension is pinned with Proton VPN.
I have both Proton VPN and Proton drive showing as pinned taskbar tray icons with the two fancy checkmarks at all times. It would be nice to add an update to the proton pass Windows application to make it so when proton pass on Windows is locked, the tray icon shows a lock symbol just like when the chrome extension is locked.

Require Proton Password to Unlock
I use a long master password for 1Password and having to enter it to unlock the app every time helps me remember it. I would like for this to be an option instead of the PIN so I can continue to refresh my memory by being required to type out the password daily.

MDM-style management of credentials via time-limited vault shares in Pass
Vaults with time limits to sharing would be great for multi-device use cases of Proton and limiting the fallout from endpoint compromises (maybe linked together with QR codes)? You can hack together a solution now using multiple user accounts and doing the time-based share via folders yourself, but this really should be a thing vaults do by default. Similar for cross-user sharing use cases.
Similar, Pass should not download all creds, only creds for specific vaults for a specific time period.

Hold the Save password Window when refreshing explorer window.
When generating a password, I want to first know that the website accept it before saving it in Proton Pass. So I click continue on the website but then the website refresh by saying okey (Or eg. no the password is too long) bu then the window that ask me if I want to save the password disapear.
So if the password is accepted I have no way of knowing what it was and save it...The window that asks if I want to save the login should stay open until I dismiss it or accept it.
