Prevent password display after autofill
So currently, you can set a PIN code in the Firefox extension, so that you can hide your passwords. But when you go to a website, for that you saved a password, you can simply view the password from the autofill suggestions.
The password should stay hidden here and nobody should be able to view the passwords from there.
(If it depends on the website whether entered passwords can be viewed, an option would be to detect that and/or ask for the extra/master password before autofill)In my opinion that would be the most basic function of any password manager.…

Set reminder to update passwords after certain duration
As a user I want to be able to choose a suggested lifespan for each password or all passwords in my vault so that I can be prompted to change these over time (either when I log into the site, or just during general browsing) to improve my security as password standards evolve and minimise ongoing risk from sites who suffer password leaks. This would be particularly useful when importing from other password managers. I don't want to reset hundreds of passwords in one go but 6 months from now it would be nice to know the most valuable passwords…

Have multiple sets of login credentials per main vault entry
I'm currently migrating away from Kaspersky Password Manager to Proton Pass. In KPM, it is possible for an entry in the vault to have more than one set of logon credentials associated with it. When the web site or app is accessed, a popup appears asking which set of credentials you want to use.
For example, I have more than one Google account, and also store the login credentials for both of my daughters in case they forget their passwords. In the KPM vault, there is one entry in the main list for 'accounts.google.com' which I have called "Google". When…

Mobile app: when biometric fails have a fallback other than system unlock.
Enabling "Use system lock when biometric fails" is insecure in the following scenario: someone shoulder-surfs in a crowd to find out your phone's PIN or unlock pattern, then steals your phone. They will then have access to your Proton Pass contents. It would be better to allow app-specific PIN code and Biometric unlocking to be active at the same time, rather than forcing users to choose between them. Users can then disable "Use system lock.." and still have a secure fallback if biometric lets them down.
Alternatively, a master password could be used as a fallback.

Linked entries or files
It would be great to be able to link items together (for example a password and a note), and it would also be really good to be able to do the same for files (e.g a private key, or certificate), either storing them in the password manager, or creating an entry which links to a file in your proton drive.

Proton Pass Extension Should Inherit settings from global settings - not allow unique settings
The Proton Pass extensions should not have different settings in each browser and each instance of browser as they currently do.
These settings should be inherited from global settings or at least have an option to inherit these settings from global settings and be force logged out when those settings change.
This feels like a security vulnerability and I am unhappy with how this works right now.

Show Password as QR Code
Option to display password as a simple QR code. I'm not able to sign in to ProtonPass on some devices, and do not have Internet connection on them, but the default camera app can read QR codes. So instead of texting or emailing myself my password, it would be easier and faster to show password as a QR code on my phone and scan it with the machine I'm logging into.

Dedicated domains and IPs for Pass
Certain countries (i.e. Russia) restrict access to Proton Mail. Apparently, Pass uses some of the domains or IP ranges they block. And if Mail access can be circumvented with a VPN, being unable to access your passwords is much more serious as you might as well have your VPN credentials saved there. In addition, connecting to VPN is most inconvenient whenever you need to unlock your vault or save a new item. This could be solved by having dedicated IPs and domains for Pass backend, so it does not suffer collateral damage from other blocks.

[Critical] Provide View history (most basic feature) feature for FREE tier
This is the absolute necessary and most basic feature for a password manager to revert back or view your password history. Like Bitwarden does, proton pass "View history" feature should be available for everyone including Free tier users. Stop putting everything behind a pay wall.

Copy suggested password
When setting a new password for an account, Proton Pass suggests a new password, and usually it is a complex one. This is great, but I must be able to copy it in order to actually use this password. That is, at least when this password has not yet been actually used and stored in the Proton Pass secure vault.
Some account creation procedures enable users to "unmask" a password. In these cases usually an eye icon appears at the right side of the new password field. Clicking this icon unmasks the password and users can copy the password that…

Do not expose username when app is locked
On mobile devices, the autofill feature exposes the username of the login item even when the app is locked. So someone with your phone can infer (a) that you have a login for that website and (b) your username. Imho b should be gone asap and ideally a too (replicating the behavior of the browser’s extension)

Mobile app: Copy content of additional fields per finger tap /
In the mobile ios app, I can only copy the content of the “Mail address” and “Password” fields to the clipboard with a tap.
If I create additional fields, this does not work. I have to hold my finger on the text for a long time and then select everything and copy it manually.
It would be helpful if it were possible to copy and paste the text to the clipboard in all fields with a tap of the finger.

Identify and alert for man in the middle attacks
My employer has started using a man in the middle for internet security. All of a sudden, when I inspect the certificate, all connection certificates are issued/signed by "Menlo Security Inc".
An important security feature would be to have the sign-in page and apps interogate the browser to see if the connection certificate is from the correct issuer, and warn the user if it is not.
I only identified this because this attack somehow fails when I attempt to login to a particular site which warned me. I immediately inspected the certificate and it was obvious that it was not…

block instance on Devices
If a device with Proton Pass or the browser extension installed is lost or stolen, how can the instance on that device be blocked so that the user is logged out of Proton Pass and no more passwords can be read?
