Lock extension by default
Every time I install the ProtonPass Firefox extension I have to remember to set a lock pin, otherwise the extension remains vulnerable.
Sometimes the extension updates itself, and even if it forces me to log in again (which is OK) the pin is lost, so I have to remember to set a pin again or be vulnerable.I understand the pin is local to that extension, so my proposal is to follow what other password managers does, which is to lock with the password account if no pin has been set.
In that scenario, it would be a little bit…2 votes -

Add 2FA OTP codes via QR codes on desktop
The mobile app allows one to add 2FA codes to a login, but the desktop browser extension does not. The Authenticator extension for e.g. Firefox supports this, so it's definitely possible.
It would be nice to not have to open the app on my phone, scan the screen, and force a sync in the extension to get the ground

View with whom a vault has been shared.
I have not been able find how to view with whom I've shared a vault. This is a major weakness from an auditability perspective. There should be a simple way to view all members (internal and external) with whom a vault has been shared and a way to disable future sharing.

Add "Proton applications" menu button
For some reason all websites except Proton Pass have a "Proton applications" menu button. What I mean is the icon composed of four little rounded squares that's on the right side of the product name. Why is Proton Pass the only one that doesn't have it?

one click login
Current:
At the moment, I need to do two clicks to select a credential to sign in. First to open the credentials and second, to select the credentialExpected:
The credential list should always be open to be able to sign in with one click. You can check out as inspiration heylogin - it works quite nice there. (They also autofill OTP passwords)4 votes -
Sync Auto-lock between clients
Please add the functionality to sync the settings and status (locked/unlocked) of Auto-lock from the desktop app with the browser extension.
So you would only have to set up the auto-lock settings once and you only have to unlock Proton Pass on the system one time. Currently I have to unlock the desktop app and browser extension separately, which are two steps.

Updating Passwords
When generating a new password for a login, after each attempt it asks if I want to update the login. Sometimes I find, due to a sites password requirements, I have to generate multiple passwords before one is sufficient and each time PP asks if I want to update the account info each time, so if possible, PP should only ask to update the password until I've actually updated it in the particular site

Support for Android app shortcuts
This feature adds some shortcut options to the app icon when holding it, this is very useful for you can reach specific features of the app without having to navigate through the UI.
Besides, on Samsung phones these shortcuts can de added to the edge menu.https://developer.android.com/develop/ui/views/launch/shortcuts

Option for Password generator to not use I/l and 0/O
Another Lastpass feature I miss: when generating a new password, they had the option to exclude ambiguous characters that are hard to read. It doesn't weaken the password significantly, but it really simplifies life when we need to be able to read the characters. We could set this in a checkbox when passwords were generated.

Better UI for extension window
There are many things that makes the extension popup not user friendly.
First of all, it keeps the same design as the web app as it is not displayed with the same size. This makes it really not readable. On this point, the extension popup is far better and user friendly in Bitwarden. A last point is about the contrast of colors in dark themes. The red and blue colors are not very contrasted on black background especially if text is not bold. This makes it difficult to read. The green used in Monokai theme is more readable. A mix…4 votes -

Sortierung in Proton Pass festlegen

Prevent password display after autofill
So currently, you can set a PIN code in the Firefox extension, so that you can hide your passwords. But when you go to a website, for that you saved a password, you can simply view the password from the autofill suggestions.
The password should stay hidden here and nobody should be able to view the passwords from there.
(If it depends on the website whether entered passwords can be viewed, an option would be to detect that and/or ask for the extra/master password before autofill)In my opinion that would be the most basic function of any password manager.…

Set reminder to update passwords after certain duration
As a user I want to be able to choose a suggested lifespan for each password or all passwords in my vault so that I can be prompted to change these over time (either when I log into the site, or just during general browsing) to improve my security as password standards evolve and minimise ongoing risk from sites who suffer password leaks. This would be particularly useful when importing from other password managers. I don't want to reset hundreds of passwords in one go but 6 months from now it would be nice to know the most valuable passwords…
