  1. Do NOT display a context in notes on main screen

    Hello!

    You should NOT display a context in notes, as you are doing now. Because YOU are proposing to use them as storage for PIN codes or something like this.

    Also it will be good to have an ability to copy entire note with one button.

  2. Support Two Password Mode for Proton Mail

    If you enable the Two Password Mode for Proton Mail your only option to save that second password would be to save it as a SEPERATE login. You should allow the option for proton.me domain logins to support two passwords in the details.

  3. Shuffle PIN keypad numbers

    I use the 6 digit PIN to enter my vault on all my devices. I like the fact that the android app does have a dedicated keypad instead of the default keyboard. This is not the case on my computer though where it is susceptible to keyloggers.

    In both cases I suggest shuffling the order of the numbers on the virtual keypads to avoid pattern recognition by indiscrete eyes.

  4. ProtonPass should prefill login fields automatically by default by the most used and relevant option

    On Firefox 115.5.0esr with ProtonPass 1.8.4 I have 2 ProtonPass logins saved:

    https://www.spamcop.net
    https://forum.spamcop.net

    When i go to first page: https://www.spamcop.net
    Pass does not auto-fill the data, instead i have to click, find correct login, click again, and click one-more time to login (Firefox by default automatically prefill so i have to do just 1 click -> a huge disadvantage of Pass making me to consider stop using it).

    Pass should have pre-filled the data, because there is only single login for the www.spamcop.net (and it should prefill also if i am at spamcop.net and it should prefill…

  5. Delete all credentials (allow main vault delete) for Free users

    Currently, free version only allows one vault. And the main vault cannot be deleted. This means I can't delete the vault that stores all of my credentials.

    This is a huge problem when users want to import newer data from another password manager without having duplicate credentials.

    Since Proton Pass does not allow to merge duplicates, the only way would be to delete all and import again.

    For example, I am stuck with the older version of my credentials on my Proton account and had to create another one just for Pass in order to import my data and use…

  7. Add an option to set account 2FA or add separate logins for full URL

    Given an example of Microsoft tenants - currently for every "Guest" account, you are required to create 2FA.
    Example:
    https://login.microsoftonline.com/XY and
    https://login.microsoftonline.com/AB
    should have an option (!) for a different password / 2FA to be prompted for fill-in.

    This feature would allow users to add a new email alias to their account, and then edit that alias to include login credentials such as a username and password. This would make it easier for users to manage multiple email addresses and consolidate their account information.

  10. "use on this page" button

    I'd like to have a button "Use on this page" (like Passbolt), after pressing the button it would fill the current page with credentials, and it also could ask if I want to add the current url to the websites for this password.

    After importing my passwords from another password manager I have a lot of wrong configurated urls (using old domains, etc...) and it would make the process of copying/pasting username/password on the page and/or modifying the websites on ProtonPass to add the current url less annoying.

  12. Export proton passwords to file for backup purposes

    Exporting Proton passwords is critical for me. Having this additional assurance would put my mind at ease. No matter how well your servers are backed up.

    This may seem unsecure but the export will be uploaded to a OneDrive Personal Vault location; which IS secure.

    Of course; the ability to import back into Proton is also needed.

    Allow creating aliases for new accounts in shared vaults. The alias should point to the owners mail of the shared vault, not the mail of the one creating the alias as this moves mails away from the origin account.

    Example:
    Part A shared a vault with Part B and assigns Part B admin rights.
    Part B should now be able to create new logins in the vault and setup email aliases on behalf of Part A, so that mails stays within the same setup and wont spread to numbers of shared attendees.

  17. Make the GUI much easier to read and navigate

    Please look at the interface used by 1Password. The text is large and easy to click on. There are 3 panels that organize the information easily: Item choices on the left, choice of items in the middle, and detail on the right. I want to switch from 1Password to ProtonPass but 1Password is way easier to look at and use.

    Also, when I create a new login in ProtonPass, it should go immediately to that entry when I click 'Create'. It does not do that currently.

    Just duplicate what they are doing and ProtonPass will be way better.

  18. Update Existing Login with additional website

    Sometimes you use a login across multiple sites. If you don't have that website stored in the login it asks if you want to save a new login. Instead, it should ask if you want to add this site to this log-in or phrase it as an update. it would then store the new site as an additional site for these credentials to be used in.

    While it may not be the best practice for security, it also serves to update login sites for the same site when the address is changed.

    pretty simple, instead of making me type my proton email where it says "enter email or username", have a button i can press to autofill it
