  1. Allow the user to specify the login form fields used for auto-fill

Allow the user to choose which field on a login form is associated with the username, password, OTP, etc. Sometimes fields are not detected successfully, so auto-fill doesn't work. Other password managers allow the user to choose the ID of the fields in the page's HTML so they're always filled correctly.

  2. Custom App Icons

Add various themed and discreet app icons across the suite, similar to Signal.
Protonmail seems to have integrated something like this on iOS thus far, but only very basic discreet icons.

  3. individual 4-6 digit PIN codes added as option for high risk logins

Proton Pass already keeps your data safe with two-factor authentication, which is fantastic. But imagine if, when you need to quickly access important passwords—say for your bank or private email—you could just enter a simple 4-6 (or even 8) digit PIN. It’s a fast, extra layer of security that makes retrieving your most critical credentials both secure and super convenient.

  4. Unlocking the Proton Pass extension with a password (not just a PIN or biometric authentication) for added security.

Unlocking the Proton Pass extension with a password (not just a PIN or biometric data) for added security. It's fine that some people want to unlock it with a PIN or biometric data, but I prefer the security option.

  5. Encrypted Kanban-style project management app, e.g. Trello

I would really appreciate a Kanban-style project management app similar to Trello fully integrated with mail, calendar, drive and Lumo

  6. Optional unlock-before-autofill security model for browser extension

Proton Pass currently follows a browser-trust security model: once the browser session is unlocked, autofill is allowed without additional user authentication.

For users who keep their browser open for long periods or occasionally share devices, this effectively means the password manager is also unlocked. The existing PIN protects access to the Proton Pass UI, but does not gate
autofill itself, so credentials can still be filled without explicit authentication.

I would like to suggest offering an optional vault-style security model, where autofill requires explicit user authentication (password or biometrics), and optionally auto-locks after inactivity independent of browser state.

    This would…

  7. Improving Android/One UI Integration

To compete with system-integrated solutions like Google Password Manager or Samsung Pass, Proton Pass needs to move beyond being "just an app" and become a deeply integrated system component. I propose the following technical improvements to achieve a seamless, high-performance experience on Android and One UI:

Full Credential Manager API Optimization: Instead of relying on legacy autofill overlays, Proton Pass should perfectly implement the Android 14+ Credential Manager API. This ensures that login prompts appear as native system bottom sheets. Specifically, the "gray square" icon bug on Samsung devices must be fixed to ensure a professional, native look.

    Accessibility Service…

  8. Support for ARM-based Microsoft Windows / Devices

With the growing support for Windows on ARM and my use of a Snapdragon X Elite laptop, I was wondering if there are any plans to release a native ARM-compatible version of Proton Pass for Windows. I'd love to know if this is on the roadmap.

  9. Trusted Recovery Support for Fraud Victims

I’m truly pleased to share my experience and introduce the services of JIMRECOVERY TEAM, a notable and highly dedicated crypto recovery company that recently helped me reclaim my stolen digital assets. Just a few days ago, I unfortunately fell victim to a sophisticated crypto investment scam that left me feeling devastated, frustrated, and almost hopeless about ever recovering my funds.
Like many others in similar situations, I initially believed that once crypto assets are stolen, they are gone forever. The decentralized nature of cryptocurrency makes recovery extremely difficult, and countless victims are left without any real solutions. However, my perspective…

  10. to obscure the “Note” field

I would like to suggest a feature for Proton Pass.

The suggestion is to add the option to obscure the “Note” field with a button similar to the “Hide/Show” button in the ‘Password’ field, in addition to the option to start with the “Note” field obscured.

    Thank you.

  14. Support pkpass

Adding support for pkpass files in Proton Pass would allow users to store and manage their passes (such as boarding passes, loyalty cards, and event tickets) directly within Proton Pass. This would provide a single, secure location for all important passes and tickets, enhancing both convenience and security. Additionally, it would make Proton Pass more versatile and useful in everyday scenarios.

  15. Second Login

It would be great if Proton Pass allowed users to store not only a PIN or password as a second password, but also a security key such as Yubikey.

  17. Two Passwords to Avoid the Hammer Attack Scenario

I would like to see the option in Proton Pass to use "either" of two passwords.

If you use password #1 Proton Pass would work as it usually does.

If you use Password #2, Proton Pass would only display certain records that have been tagged by the user.

The purpose of this would be to help prevent a successful "Wrench Attack".

If threatened physically to log into your account, you could use password #2 and minimize the loss of your data.

This would be similar to methods used on some crypto wallets. Here's an article on Wrench Attacks for reference.

  18. Password‑Change Reminder

It would be very useful if Proton Pass could include a built‑in reminder that notifies users to change a password after a custom interval.
    • Adjustable interval: Users set the number of days/weeks/months before they receive a reminder.
    • Filterable view: As with all stored entries, the passwords subject to reminders can be filtered by category, tags, or expiration date.
    This addition would boost security

  19. Autofill from extension after search

I've saved more than 200 login items for single website. All are for different companies and all are legit. So when I'm using proton pass it shows me drop-down with 200 login items for that site - there's no search field.. So I would love to use keyboard shortcut to open extension and then use search field and press on wanted item to autofill. And the moment all I can do is scroll in that drop-down and look for one correct item or use search in extension and then manually copy and paste credentials, which is nonsense.

  20. Labels

Hello, Pass is really great and would be even better if items within the vault could be tagged with user defined labels, analogous to the way it is done in Mail.
