Maximize one of the participants' webcam image
It would be useful to be able to maximize one of the participants' image during the meeting. For instance the participant wants to show a document on paper, a painting, an object, etc. to the others. Maximizing the participant's webcam image allow the others to better focus and see more details.

Please allow for selection of host mail adress
For now my standard mail address is always selected es standard when creating a meeting within meet app on windows or within calendar.
Having multiple aliases for specific use cases a selection is a must for I won't use my private address for business cases or vice versa.
To be clear: I am not talking about simple login / Pass pseudonyms but about addresses I created in Mail.
Thanks!

have an option to mirror video feeds
I've never seen a video conferencing app do this before, and I admit that it is a niche use case, but being able to choose to mirror participants' video feeds could be useful when demonstrating things over video.

API for Programmatic Proton Meet Room Creation (Independent of Booking System)
I am requesting a public API endpoint to programmatically create unique Proton Meet rooms and retrieve their join URLs. This is essential for developers building self-service scheduling applications that need to generate dynamic, isolated meeting links for every event.
My application allows users to schedule meetings programmatically and sends calendar invitations (.ics) via Proton SMTP. To make these invites functional, the .ics file requires a specific URL property pointing to a unique meeting room.
Currently, Proton Meet rooms can only be created manually via the web interface. There is no API to:
- Trigger the creation of a new, unique room.

Integrate an AI notetaker
An integration with AI note-taking tools would be extremely useful.
Alternatively, a guideline/how-to on the integration of an existing AI note taker.
Integration with Proton drive should be easy. If the AI note taker stores the files locally, then that is already provided using synchonized folders/files.

Multiple Language Simultaneous Live Interpreting
As part of a network called Language for Justice we aim to bring decolonial language accessibility online and currently the only qualitative platform with this feature is Zoom. It would be great to be able to have possibility to invite multiple interpreters for different languages (not only from EU by the way). Great feature for Interpreters would be also interpreters being able to switch and listen to each other without interrupting each other (they usually work in pairs) and also the host and co-hosts being able to manage the settings to be of best support. If you ever need help…

Integrate presentation features of Boom
There's an app called boom that adds a ton of great functionality to video calls. I'm not sure if an integration is possible due to the privacy nature of Proton, but if possible it would be seriously awesome. Worst case, if integration isn't possible, there are some really awesome ideas you could incorporate into future versions of Proton meet.

Adjustable Self-View Size in Proton Meet
Product: Proton Meet
Summary Add a minimizable/compact self-view option so users can reduce their own video tile to a small picture-in-picture window, rather than choosing only between equal-sized split view or hiding self-view entirely.
Problem Currently, Proton Meet offers two self-view modes in 1:1 calls: equal-sized windows (your video takes up half the screen) or hiding your own video completely. There's no middle ground. An equally sized self-view is unnecessarily large — most users only need a small preview to confirm their camera angle and lighting. Hiding self-view removes this useful feedback entirely. Competing tools (Zoom, Google Meet, Teams) commonly…

Option to share computer's audio on screenshare
I'm on the linux client (unsure of other clients), and there is no way to share my computer's audio when I screenshare. I do tutoring, so such functionality is very important to me.
