U2F support is under development. This will allow Yubikey integration as well.
seems like "no answer" after over half year in the subject is answer enough. pity the forum support is that diconnected to the userbase already. U2F shouldn't take that long to implement.
+1! @protonmailteam if you don´t want to implement that feature for "reasons" please explain them.

the guerrillamail problem would not apply if you likit the feature to custom domains. otherwise this might lead to blocking of the "normal" @protonmail.com adresses...
But i do think that their silence on some features is telling us enough about their modus operandi. well i will definitly switch if that feature and real pgp support aren't added by june when my current plan ends.
i mean how damn hard is it to add this or pgp? protonmail is still a closed system in regards to encrypted email to other users. pity it started really good.
Bad idea. And there was already a topic asking NOT to reuse adresses:
just use a private domain for your mails if you have problems with usernames. makes life way easier and doesn't cost that much. (+you don't have to change your adresses when switching the mailprovider) ;)
more transpearency is always welcome but the questions have been answered by "Anonymous commented · March 23, 2017 19:45 " right?
sorry but if you want non-protonmailusers to have a portal for theit mails then that will have to be secured - by a password.
like to an account.
which would in consequence make them protonmailcustomers.
ps: the plus-limitations are already being discussed in an other thread with 2k+ votes.
We have designed our encryption to be flexible enough to allow for chat. However it’s not planned for the summer. Possibly in 2016.
it´s planned and you could just use signal or threema or wikr... the problem is that there are already a lot of messengers with not many people to use them. and since there are not many people on them, new people won´t use it over whatsapp. more secure messengers won´t fix that problem.
Secure file storage is critical to protecting your information online. Currently, ProtonMail supports encrypted attachments within your email inbox.
Spideroak. It was even recommended by snowden (2013 or so?)
i use spideroak. it was recommended by snowden years ago and works fine for sync. it´s also zero-knowledge.
honestly i would it more to see the protonmailteam collaborate with spideroak than creating their own thing... you can´t build the best of every solution, just get someone who is already doing it fine and work with them. :P
please just don´t :P there are enough solutions out there already.
