   I absolutely agree! This is an absolute must for my wife and I because we use a widget instead of calendar event reminders.
   Something like Simple Calendar Widget (Android) would be very nice. This widget is highly configurable: size, fonts, group events by date, how many are shown, set background color, change transparency, ...
