Open the ICS file with a text editor and replace, approx in line 4, METHOD:REQUEST by METHOD:PUBLISH Save the ics file and import it. As a work around.
Open the ICS file with a text editor and replace, approx in line 4,
METHOD:REQUEST by
METHOD:PUBLISH
Save the ics file and import it.
You will lose the list of invited people but at least you have the appointment,
