    A long-time user of tools like Thunderbird, Eudora Lite, etc., the bridge works great to secure my email as I move it in bulk from providers such as Gmail and Google Workspace. Forwarding a few hundred or thousand emails to ProtonMail is a pain, but the Proton Bridge works great. If a desktop app were to be developed, it would have to support other email providers. Learning to implement the Bridge isn't that difficult if you know how to configure your email client for email these days...sheesh, figuring out IMAP ports, SMTP, can be a pain in itself. ProtonBridge makes it work quite well. -An Everyday user of ProtonBridge
