I wrote a version of this same idea as a reddit post recently: https://www.reddit.com/r/ProtonMail/comments/ugtjd0/selectable_signatures_at_the_time_of_writing/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3

Selectable signatures at the time of writing, rather than by default
    Feature Request
To be clear, I'm referring to text/image email signatures within the body of the email. Not to be confused with PGP signing.

Coming from another email service, I've become habituated to being able to just insert an email signature when I think the message requires it, rather than all the time. For most emails I don't use one (ergo the default one is blank). However, for emails where I do want to give my contact information in the body of the message, I suggest adding a simple, quickly accessed menu in the editor can be used to insert the desired, prewritten, signature text at the end of the message. (Bolded that to make the actual suggestion easier to find)

As an extension to this, I also occasionally have the need to insert a different signature in a message to my usual one. For example, I might have a signature with just my email address and phone number, and another which also has my postal address. Alternatively, I may have one for my job hunting/portfolio website email purposes, and another just for personal stuff.

Bonus points if the prewritten signatures can be synced with the Mobile Apps (not double entered), but not mandatory.

I did search reddit, checked uservoice and Proton's site. Didn't find anything recent about this kind of request (lots on HTML signatures).

Alternative to tide me over: There are plenty of programs, extensions, phone apps out there that can insert canned text into an any text field.
