    I was about to ask for this and saw this old request. Normally I do use the bridge with thunderbird, but on the Android app and web app, especially when traveling, having 5+ emails jammed into one inbox lump is a bit annoying.

    I disagree. I'd rather have the Proton devs sped their time on the security and services and not re-inventing another email client. The bridge, like anything else in life, has a bit of a learning curve and works quite well with Thunderbird.

    It would be interesting to have the bridge integrated into one of the many fine email clients, in the way Enigmail plugin was and now OpenPGP is integrated into Thunderbird.
