Absolutely agree, I regularly work with different sources when composing e-mail. At first glance everything looks great in the editor, but when I check the e-mail later in my sent items, I often see numerous formatting issues such as mixed font-sizes up a single sentence or paragraphs or irregular list spacing.
Having the ability to work with plain text with some basic formatting options where e-mail is later converted to an HTML mail with consistent formatting will make my life a lot easier and make my e-mail look a lot more professional.
