    yes, this is a very old post, but i have to 2nd this suggestion. only allowing 3 folders to categorize emails is deliberately making the basic account useable. if the basic account included 10 folders, i would probably migrate all my email to proton and start making it my primary email, and i would probably donate to proton out of appreciation for providing the free service i could use. if it included more folders and imap/smtp, i'd probably pay a modest annual fee. either way, proton is running off most of its potential users by offering an unuseable email account or a useable account that demands monthly fees in perpetuity
