    I think adding the option to donate via bitcoin could be great for a service like Protonmail that values privacy and security. As cryptocurrencies become more mainstream, having a scannable QR code makes it easy for grateful users to contribute.

    Services like https://alfcoin.net/ offer tips for adding bitcoin payment support, from getting set up with a digital wallet to generating a custom QR code image that links to your address. Even small contributions could help fund future development. And for donors, sending bitcoin often has much lower processing fees compared to traditional electronic payments.
