It's absolutely unacceptable that ProtonCalendar still lacks widget support for iOS, even after four years since the initial user request and two years since the Proton team acknowledged its importance. Widgets are a basic feature that significantly enhances the usability and convenience of any calendar app, allowing users to quickly view upcoming events from their home screen.
The fact that this essential functionality has not been prioritized is baffling and frustrating for users who have been patiently waiting for far too long. It's time for the Proton team to allocate the necessary resources and deliver on this crucial feature. ProtonCalendar risks falling behind its competitors who have long offered widget support.
