I agree that it would be nice for Proton Pass to provide that functionality.

It's a pain but I manually recreated my tags in a folder structure in BW. I have more than 1,000 items in my BW vaults, so I focused on the items I use regularly and put them into the new folder structure.

Among other migratory challenges one faces when switching platform (and there can be many, among verifying data and fixing inconsistencies), password managers are a pain.

I'm committed to migrating my data (consolidating several different services to Proton). With that, I know that I'm going to run into some issues and that I'll need to address those issues.

It's almost certain to happen, in my experience, so maybe do a little testing to see what you can do.

I setup a Proton Pass vault and imported my BW data into it. There were 76 errors and over 1,000 items imported. Not too bad. I'm going to look at those 76 items in BW and see if there's anything that needs to be fixed or modified (they're all Notes), create another Proton Pass vault and retry the import until I get it right or to a point that I'm satisfied.

The other problem I have, and more to your point, is that my folder structure didn't import. However, Proton Pass did recognize that I have items in some folders in BW (it didn't offer to create the empty BW folders). Since I'm still testing, I just imported all items into a single vault--but when I do the final import, I'll place everything into a specific structure (one of which includes an Archive vault for items I want to save but that I don't currently have a need for).

Anyway, your post is a little old. I recently signed up and found myself here voting on features. lol

This is an important feature. Without it, people will be forced to manually move over items or remain dependent on Apple Passwords.
