I request that you consider adding support for the Proton VPN browser extension on Firefox for Android.
Currently, while the Proton VPN extension is available and works efficiently on desktop Firefox, it does not appear to be functional or installable on the Android version of Firefox. This is despite the fact that many other VPN extensions (e.g., Browsec, SetupVPN, etc.) now work seamlessly on Firefox Android (Nightly and Stable)
Benefits:
Expands the accessibility of Proton VPN to millions of Firefox Android users
Maintains consistency across devices for existing Proton Mail + VPN users
Strengthens Proton’s position as the leading privacy-first solution provider on mobile platforms
Other VPN browser extensions are already compatible and functional on Firefox for Android.
Proton VPN is trusted, open-source, and security-first, making it a highly desirable choice for mobile browser-based privacy needs.
Thank you for your continued dedication to open-source privacy tools.
Sincerely,
Professor Dr. B. R. Shriradhakrishnasharnam
