    Yes definitely needs connection, and please allow LOCAL BIOMETRICS AUTHENTICATION FOR BROWSER ADD-ON.

    I am new to Proton Pass, migrating from 1Password, Apple iCloud Passwords and Google Chrome passwords.

    In web browsers, e.g., Chrome, the current setting of Proton is default to NO PROTECTION - you can view and autofill the saved passwords from Proton Pass ANYTIME IN THE BROWSER. The lock currently only support PIN and Password for browser add-on and this is obviously not ideal.

    Please consider allowing BIOMETRICS LOCK for browser add-on. Just like the native Chrome Passwords settings, before autofill or accessing saved passwords - REQUIRE LOCAL BIOMETRICS AUTHENTICATION. This is definitely SAFER and MORE EFFICIENT.
